If you really knew me...
You would now that I am fascinated with understanding why humans do, think, and/or feel. Everything about how we process, or don't, intrigues me. You would know that I have done a lot of my inner work, but I know this is a never ending task. You would know that I do not take kindly to others dumping their emotional stuff on me. You would know I dislike pity and will not entertain it, either for myself or for others. You would know that I love and respect animals, and have a special closeness and understanding of dogs. You would know that I enjoy cooking possibly more than I enjoy eating. lol You would know that I don't really have any family to speak of, but I rarely feel lonely; I can always find something to do to entertain myself. You would know that I am learning to follow my own advice. :) You would know that, ALWAYS I am a thinker. I am hardly ever without some thought in my head that I am in the midst of processing. |
If You Really Knew Me....
You would know that I am working on getting back to who I used to be, and figuring out what happened and why all that changed to begin with.
You would know that my mind is the most fabulous of playgrounds, but to be careful, there are occasional dark areas. You would know that the dark areas aren't so scary. There's a big part of me that has given in to fear for far too long. My home is my sanctuary. My dad is very, very sick and we can't find the cause. And I am not dealing with that very well. My relationship with my sister is difficult at best. I love animals and rescue far too many. I also rescue far too many people. My home used to have a sign that read "Home for Wayward Lesbians"..well, not literally, but it must have existed somewhere. I love, love, love to laugh. I love to smile. I love to have fun and enjoy life and living. I love the Earth. I love the Universe. I am also a bit of a perv...I love sensuality and sexuality. I love seeing what makes people tick. Or tock. Or both! :) I am the eternal optimist. (I love to talk - but maybe you don't have to know me so well to have gathered that!) :) |

You would know that I'm quite shy and that it sometimes comes across as being haughty (but definitely isn't). And, you'd know that I'm a procrastinator extraordinaire (which is exactly what I'm doing at this moment)...

that glitter (fancy cars, big houses, looks, rollex wathces,2x too big for your wrist,.. status, labels etc..)don't impress me. What impresses me is the 'under dog', that makes it against all odds.. the mentally challenged, that make no excuses, and go on about living their life with honor and integrity.. animals impress me, with their wisdom and UNCONDITIONAL love.. You'd also know that, I am cofident, not arrogant. That although I may get lonely from time to time, the thought of living by myself for the rest of my life, does not scare me nor cause me anxiety. That I love my dog's kisses. That I am my brothers and sisters keeper. That the ONLY "fear" I have, is that of God forsaking me (not gonna happen). That I'd love to live in a humble little cabin up in the Mouintains. *..and that I used to be a better speller:blink:* |

You'd know that I am not technically savvy at all.
And that I am more bonded with my hair brush than with my cell phone or any other mechanical thingy majig. You would also know that sometimes I don't know that I have a text or a voicemail for days and when I figure out that I have a text, sometimes I can not read it because I am not sure where my spectacles are. So, in a nutshell you would know that it's best to e-mail or ring me... |

How much I love watching Millionaire Matchmaker I could eat Mexican Food every day I have to have a Caramel Frappuccino from Starbucks at least 3 xs a week I love sleeping in on Sundays and rainy days I love fireplaces Ive never been on a plane, in a limo or been in a hot tub Im friends with my ex gf's I only drink Dr Pepper in a 20 oz bottle not a can. It goes flat too fast. That goes for a 2 liter bottle too. I dont drink it. I love Coke with ice... I love Sonic Ice |

Crowds frighten me Meeting new people in person gives me bad anxiety I cant drive at night long distances When I go to the bar I usually go with a friend and her gf just to people watch I cant approach a femme in person. I have no game lol I become either speechless and when I try to talk it comes out stuttering. Once I know you Im not shy and I can actually make you laugh Im very intuiative... I can read body language and actions over listening to someone's words any day |

I'm much too sensitive for my own good ... I love B grade (old black and white) horror flicks ... I'm rather quiet at times but it's not a negative thing ... I believe friendship is the foundation for any kind of relationship (lover or otherwise) ... I am extremely stubborn and a wee bit competitive (okay, more than a wee bit) ... Quite often I display alone behaviour, even when I am not alone ... I have a lipstick fetish ... Just for starters. |

I dont give trust to just anyone. You earn it. I always give a benefit of a doubt This year was the first year that I have ever dressed up for Halloween... Im loving my life the older I get I love to laugh and laugh alot I cuss alot when Im mad or frustrated Im very sensitive. I wear my heart on my sleeve Im hella loyal and stand by my friends through anything and everything I miss my mom daily... I miss having a close relationship with my brother. he will never truly accept me being gay. I love kids but dont want any of my own Im highly allergic to cats Im very outspoken and point blank I try and hold it in around people who dont know me. :) Out of respect I love my job and my co workers are alot like family to me Sometimes Im my own worst enemy |

You would know that... I am wearing spiderman underoos as we speak (because you are never too old!) I hate receiving roses! I love the smell of rain and can sit and stare at stars for hours. If you really knew me... You would know that ... I am a total science geek and am fascinated by the anatomy and physiology of the human body. My first love is music. I never learned to swim or ride a bike. I swore I was the little mermaid when I was 8 only to later swear I was Baby from Dirty Dancing :) I helped raise my siblings and never had a chance to be a kid myself. If you really knew me... You would know that... I am still getting to know me myself. |
