Spending many years in a Hispanic neighborhood in Chicago, I only know how to translate your Dia De Los Muertos into Day of The Dead. Samhain originated as a Celtic festival from what I read. So, my question is, is it the same party or are you doing a weekend of parties? Either way, may the two of you have safe travels and fun :)

This weekend will be a busy one...closing on the house Thursday, going Friday to haul out the stuff the sellers left and get it cleaned up, then starting the move in... I just hope my furniture arrives soon! :)

I am going trick or treating with two grandsons 4 and 8 still young enough for me to keep up with them. Then dinner and birthday party for the 8 yr old afterwards. Looking forward to hanging out with my little buds!

moving from our apt to our new house....hoping to get everything moved,old place cleaned,and some semblance of organization so maybewe can relax by the pool for a bit on sunday! although we will not have furniture til hers gets here from NY
