Its a beautiful day.
Last night I was able to see an extreme lightning show. According to the weather radar, it was at least 63 miles away. I'm loving the vast wide open view out the balcony. I'm thinking of going out to wash my car. After all my solo road trips I noticed the build up of smashed critters on the grill. I also have some white sand that needs to be vacuumed up. It escaped from the bag I was carrying around from the beaches of Florida. |

This fabulous Saturday morning started off with homemade goodies I found on the kitchen counter! Anything else the day brings is gravy! |
It's raining this morning but that won't interfere with it being a fabulous Saturday in my book!
If I hated rain I wouldn't be living in the Pacific Northwest! We are running a few errands then it's off for a day trip to Port Townsend... |
This Saturday I'm inside the femme cave still purging and loving it. Doors and windows are open with ceiling fans on—nice and breezy. Am purging my computer files from work while listening to the talking heads talk about Biden, Trump and Border Moms.
Will also do a couple of chores, close the cave up in a couple hours when it gets hot, then Netflix and chill. :bow: |
I don't have a Saturday off until the 22nd (which would be the most fabulous thing) but I did enjoy being able to start a project and finish it at work, uninterrupted. I'm task-oriented so that made me happy and less irritable about having to be at work early and do manual labor.

Am in the femme cave after venturing out to shop for groceries during senior hours.
Will watch Black Panther today. Bought the blu-ray when it came out but haven’t got around to it. Today is a good day to watch it (Wakonda forever!). Will also read a story from the next great novelist, my granddaughter. Will get on the bike but won’t do much. (The variable resistance isn’t low enough for my knee. Dave thinks he can get inside of it—the gears are enclosed—and lower it as soon as he has some time.) It’s not necessarily a fabulous Saturday morning, but it ain’t bad either. :bow: |

Seattle, San Francisco and Vancouver, British Columbia, also have some of the world’s worst air pollution because of the deadly wildfires ravaging the West Coast. |
What a fabulous morning its been already!
I woke up to something smelling sinfully good and discovered Mary in the kitchen whipping up several different goodies! |
Well, it started fabulous enough with me lounging in bed but when I got up to visit with the children, Loki had ants on his mat under the food and water bowls so I had to clean everything and then vacuum around the whole kitchen cabinet area. I couldn't find where they came from so I'll be doing some investigating later today. As for now, both the babies have squeaky clean water, dry and wet food bowls as well as freshly washed mats and freshly vacuumed kitchen rugs.

It's my last full weekend off for a few months so I went to bed late and woke up late and am sitting around in my pajamas, thinking about what to make for brunch. It's beautiful, chilly and sunny outside so I'll be venturing out later today as well. Nothing firm but the possibilities are endless. That's what I love about a Saturday off. It feels like you can do anything and everything when you wake up.
