Tmbyfem is potentially going to host a bonfire in San Diego on Saturday 8th October. Just need to wait another week or so for confirmation (we've discussed over recent weeks and it's something that she would very much like to do).

Hi all! I will keep this thread bumped: we will meet @ K'ya in Laguna Beach on Sat. 10/1. Happy hour is $5 food and $5 drinks from 4:30-5:30. I am sure it gets packed so when we can get a general final count, I can go earlier to make sure we get a table(s). Hopefully it will still be warm so we can sit outside on the rooftop.

I would like to drive from Long Beach area to south OC, and hitch a ride down to San Diego, if bonfire is confirmed for 10/8. Happy to help with gas.

Should be able to confirm that it is going ahead inside the next week (after Tmbyfem has returned from Burning Man).

I'm not particularly good on my SoCal geography but I would like to think that this will be possible. Certainly, Tmbyfem's previous bonfires have usually seen a good crowd travelling down from LA metro area.

You bet, I came south about an hour and a half from Laguna Beach area, and I know some came from Long Beach (about 30 mins from me) and Los Angeles about 45 min's north, and the Riverside/inland Empire area east of us.

If this happens, and anyone wants to carpool South from the Orange County area, we can meet near the Irvine train station. Parking there is free, and it is close to both the 405 and 5 Freeways.
