Trying to gear up, push past the I don't wanna and check the mail. Every time I do I can't help hoping - surprise! The package that seems to have gotton lost in the mail will be there only to be disappointed it isn't.

Got up a bit ago and now having my blueberry toaster strudel and my second cuppa.

Waiting on sunrise. Debating if I want to sleep in or get up and get the fire pit going so I can grill breakfast.

Listening to the wild ducks make a bunch of noise way off on the lake somewhere.

Tempted not to get up because there's this tiny 10 pound cuddle bug dog snuggled up to my ribs with her head resting on my arm. She's so warm and breathing easy.

Trying to learn to use my new phone. I'm really pissed at LG. I absolutely loved my ThinQ.
After having it for almost 5 years, I have a lot of catching up to do with new technology.

I'm currently spending my last night at the lake before I head home in the morning to prepare for the storm.

Taking a snack break after vaccuming and washing floors. You would think the place was full of animals (besides me) where does it all come from?

Today I got to get our laundry done (oh boy, lol), then go to the credit union for banking needs, then go over to a new place to work and do a working interview (hope to work at new place by next week).

Lazing around the house and slowly getting my day started: sipping on coffee and plotting out what I want to do (probably go shopping). Maybe look for a new jacket for my honey; he needs some spoiling. :stillheart:

Having a small glass of really good rye whiskey; thanks to my host for sharing his extensive collection. Watching my sweet baby dog settle down in her crate with all her cuddly toys around her. Getting ready for bed.

Sitting at work, battling a migraine. As I reached into my purse to get my migraine medicine, I realize a Popcaan I had in my purse, exploded everything in my purse saturated. Lol

Nervously watching the 2nd installer today try to hang a TV mount on my kitchen wall.

Scrolling through the free channel previews on my Roku

Listening to Frank Sinatra sing "I've Got the World on a String" and annoying my dog as I sing along. Paying bills online at almost the last possible minute for January. Unhappily watching the balance in my checking account diminish.

Watching Kids Baking Championship. Loving on the doggo.

Watching the first Cardinal of the year outside my window. It's a beautiful male. He's picking through the leaves that were blown into a pile yesterday. Spring is coming!

I am doing laundry. It’s been backed up because my housekeeper had to quit, because, of all things she went back to her abuser. I tried to talk to her, but sadly she is back with him, and he does not let her work. I am trying to find another housekeeper, but until then my biggest PITA chore is laundry.

Watching YouTube. Playing with the doggo. Waiting for dinner to be done.

Having some Special K Red Berries Cereal, scrolling through posts on the planet, Trying to come up good reasons for putting off some, because I have to do it sometime, math. I hate math.

Looking at my beautiful Valentine's red and white tulips, taking my meds and getting ready for bed.

It's snowing outside right now and my honey isn't home yet, but we have been plotting our first river adventure on my honey's boat. He likes to water ski, I like to ride or drive the boat ( *lol* ), but we just keep crafting our boat drives on the river. Most likely we will hide out on an island and practice our public displays of affection, in terribly private ways. :hk19::hk20::hk2:

Finishing up a craft project. Next I will fill out some insurance paperwork.
