Kind of crazy... sent in my daughters college registration and deposit today. Sh*t is getting real!

So frustrated and a little defeated.

Great!!! I think my crazy hormonal feelings have finally passed???? Or maybe it's the excitement about my job interview tomorrow morning???

Quite tired, I`ve had a busy week so far and my chores and reorganisation due to some new furniture will run into next week, its all coming together though and I love my home so I cant complain and we have the windows wide open, glorious sunshine and birdsong....its a lovely day !

After seeing the doctor yesterday and now taking high powered antibiotics, plus a boost in BP med dosage, I feel pretty good, even peachy. Still on bed rest, too. Surgery is scheduled in 14 days.....so I'm on 'cruise control' for now.

But I feel good, today. :)

Feeling so-so ...

about to take dogs out for last call potty break ... have to wake Jeffrey, he played so hard tonight after he had dinner, he came inside, flopped on his bed and we've not heard a peep from him ...

then into bed ... did not sleep much last night but bet I make up for it tonight. And tomorrow is Friday :)

I feel very sun burned. I put on sun block but my face looks like a lobster. I was in the boat all day.

Happy, I finally got myself a felt cowboy hat! I know its not winter time but I've never owned one and got the opportunity to buy one from a friend, who happens to wear the same hat size as mine!

Haha! My face is so red that someone may try to push my face in the butter. :)

I sill have my barrel racing black felt hat. I need a straw bull rider's hat.

Cavenders has an excellent selection, that is where I bought both my straw hats from. You can even buy a hat online if you want, but I don't, I buy mine in person to make it fits and then get it shaped and cleaned!

Now that would be just rude, however nothing like a gentle dip to brighten one's spirits........

I agree buddy, a new cowboy hat should be purchased in person. I shop at Cavenders too. They have a great selection of hats and provide a good service.

I feel tired in general.

My face sun burn is yucky. I don't have an aloe vera plant right now (bad Chad). Does anyone have a home remedy for sun burns?

This article has ideas on other potential home remedies... hope you feel better before starting your work week off again on Monday. Also maybe a different type of super high level sport sunblock is in order...

Haha! Yep I will go buy an aloe vera plant today. There will be many boat days this summer. I will also buy better sun block. It is hard to keep sun block on my face when I am sweating on the boat. My sun block worked on my arms.

Cautiously optimistic. I tend to optimism, even in the worst circumstances. I may veer from that for a little while when things get really bad, but it never takes me long to get back to my happy center.

Great.... finally have some energy today to get stuff done.

My trip home took me over 24 hours...but I got to do things I had always wanted to.

Being tired is a small price to pay for the beautiful adventure I had.

Very happy to be back home in the mountains. I was considering remaining in Massachusetts and I know now that I'm just not ready to do that. I'll cross that bridge at another time.

J.C. Penny had a terrific sale back last winter on their DorfMan Pacific Co. hats.

Everyone will laugh but I bought an Indiana Jones style. It was just like their other safari/river hats but not so large that it made my head look like a tiny pea under it. LOL! I refuse to do that look!!! I tried it on in the store, kept walking after I saw the regular price tag. Then it was online at a great price - marked down and then an extra 20% off. They shipped it to me in this huge box. The hat was perfect. I love it.

Good, just a bit stressed and have a ton on my mind...

Stuff that I can't fix but want to fix...

Exhausted, sore. Just spent the weekend at my sister's new base, got her furniture all built and helped move around some boxes to make it easier for her to unpack. We will return in 3 weeks for more fun, probably even hit the beach this time.

I miss my sister, my nephew. They are only a few hours away, and I just saw them. I know it won't be as sad as time goes on, and I adjust, but for now, they just spent the last 3 years living with me. It is certainly an adjustment. It is a good thing, we are both doing great things with our lives, but for now, I really miss them.
