Good but sore. Have had very tight muscles all in my neck and back for two days now and it hurts :(

I am tired from a short business trip but super happy to be home with the kitties.

Accomplished! We got a good portion of our most awesomely geeky office setup last night.

Sleepy. Had to get up early to take my brother for hernia surgery. The waiting is the worst part.

I'm happy!!!! I go tomorrow morning for my drug test for the new job and finish up paperwork. They are waiting on results back from all the paperwork they sent out already (fingerprinting, background, etc) so I may not actually be starting my orientation until some time in July. :seeingstars: I'm a little bummed about that because I wanted to start ASAP, but hey at least I got it so I just have to be patient and wait it out.:cigar2:

I feel a little grumpy today. I have had too much travel lately.

Not 100%, think an early night is on the cards.

So so, I've had a headache every day for 2 weeks now.

Pretty darn good ... having a lot of pain in my right calf but good news at wound center yesterday ... my tests from the hospital indicated I have really good arteries and bloodflow in both legs ...they did similar test at wound center, don't understand why it was done again except hospital one seemed more detailed ...it is just the shin wound area that needs better oxygen ... I have been to the doctor about 10 times in the past 3 weeks and have to go tomorrow only for a brief nurse visit. She put a compression wrap on leg from knee down as last thing yesterday. I knew it was too tight. She said don't take it off and don't get it wet. It hurt so bad last night, I took it off at 12:15 a.m. this morning ... and I tore it :( ... now it will look obvious to the nurse in the morning that I removed it or adjusted it. I will tell the truth. Although pain is my companion, I honestly believe I am on the road to the shin wound being well. The doctor scraped it out and cleaned it yesterday. Even with the medicine to make it numb, it still hurt a lot. I think I know why. The doctor came strolling in at 4:25 and my appt to see him was at 3:00. A nurse put the numbing stuff on it at 3:50 so it had 35 minutes to become less effective. At one point when he was scraping the inside of it, I yelled "stop now" with so much force, I think it shocked him ... he did become somewhat less vigorous with his task. And on Tuesday, I am not exaggerating, they almost pinched my left leg off doing the arterial segmented ultrasound at the hospital. One time I yelled "take it off now" .. she did and first said some of our arteries are deeper than others and she had to stop all the blood flow to get a good reading ... then added all embarrassed -like --- ooops, it had extra air in it and held it on her chest to mash it flat. I told her she only had one more go at it in that segment of my leg. Thank goodness I had tucked my little friend away to protect from serious injury. ;) I watched her closely after that to ensure every time she removed that "squeeze you to death gadget" after a test and inched it down my leg, she squeezed the air out of it before putting it back on and going again.

I was so happy to leave there! My friend in the waiting room at the hospital said to me as we were leaving,"that was you I heard yelling wasn't it?" I said "hellpecker yes, they almost pinched off my good leg." Heh Heh! We managed to have fun, took photos of each other in the waiting room before I was called ... and even got a few disgusted eye rolls.

Excited! The C-section has been bumped up and my grandson will be here this afternoon :)

My overall mood is improving daily. I even slept well, last night. As long as I keep improving, there's every reason to believe that life will feel better, as each day goes by.

I feel wonderful.... :giggle:

It's official.... As of tonight my daughter is a high school graduate. She looked so cute and grown up in her dress, heels, cap and gown. After, we went to Kanki's (my first time there) It was fun and very good. Tomorrow huge party.

I feel tired but super happy to be home with the kitties.

I was on the boat today and I remembered to apply and reapply sun block so I am less sun burned than last time. Yay!

Exhausted, happy, and hungry.

Good but tired. Had a problem on a work project this week, but worked it out yesterday. Will have to work this weekend, but I can work from home. Maybe I can get out by noon today since I'll be at it this weekend.

I feel like I wish someone else was making dinner tonight. I would love to trade dinner tonight for my cooking tomorrow night.

I chose to delete an old friend's number years ago because he is one of those people that only reaches out when they want something and also takes forever to text back so it could be 6 months later.. It really bothered me and I made the hard decision to delete his number. Afterwards I reconsidered it, but could not find their number, and they are one of the few people I know not on social media (and with a very common first and last name).

Well, today Skype reminded me it was his birthday, and lo and behold there was his number! So I texted happy birthday knowing it would not be recognised, and sure enough he responded instantly. I am curious now to see if the years have made a difference 🤔

I know exactly what you mean. I have felt the same way at times, then berated myself for having expectations and not being easy going enough, some people can be very draining ! If you deleted his number and so could not initiate contact I`m assuming he never bothered to initiate contact himself ? I hope he smartens up his act this time around !

I am feeling weary from several on going daily challenges family wise I have. Its really sucking the life force out of me........:blah:
