The sun is shinning, it is warm outside, and I am home smiling. :)

My gorgeous new iPhone 6! Apple makes such elegant and beautiful products.

Aaaaad... it's Friday eve! I thought it would never get here.

Okay, I know this probably sounds silly but I smiled biggest today (just a few moments ago, in fact) after I changed the tire on my car. It's not like I haven't ever done it before, but today I was in a situation where I had to.

And it is so good to know you can do something when you have to do it - because I typically just feign ignorance and let someone else swoop in and play the hero (do all the work, lol).

So I feel all mature now and I really wanted a beer while I was out there "working." lol, but instead, I am going to reward myself by steeping some green tea to which I will add raw honey that came straight from one of the local apiaries - with a chunk of cut comb right in it.

I deserve it. I'm going to savor every sip. And I'm going to smile even more while I do so.

I got to drive the big red truck..over there and back...

when our dog tried to take a leap over a 3 inch gap from the recliner arm to the couch (yes, only 3 inches) and she fell and slid down do the ground... could.. not.. stop.. laughing...

Catching up with some friends, who moved in together, enjoying cold beer and good food and great convo!

I wasn't smiling when I heard the tap on my front door this morning. My disabled neighbor standing there, needing to go to town.

True to form it wasn't long before he had me smiling and laughing. With all kinds of issues going on in his life. No water and a burned up hot water heater, he's not had water in a few months now, he still finds reasons to laugh, smile and make others do so to. You'd think with water issues, health issues, legal issues and no public assistance he'd be just a grumpy bitter ole man. He's not, he is always smiling and welcomes the opportunity to reach out to help others in any way he can.

He inspires me and makes me grateful for what I do have and for the opportunity to help others as I can as well.

So spending time with this ole guy and listening to his stories and his parables makes me smile.

My boss called me up out of the blue and asked if I wanted my hair buzzed. She had an hour and a half to kill. She just left a bit ago - and I am freshly shorn. Have to love a multi-talented boss.

We bought tickets to Women’s Weekend on the Russian River in May! We also booked a cottage so we do not need to drive. Yay!

Is anyone else from the site planning to attend? Tickets for Friday-Sunday are only $35.00.
