Tonight's Dinner
We are going with my Parish to a local fire hall to eat dinner. The menu is obviously going to be fish (cod), salads of all kinds, fruit, coffee/tea/sodas, and cookies/cakes for dessert. |

BBQ short ribs w/corn on the cob(for my son) and grilled veggies for me.

No, I am not kidding. Last year, Pete tasted everything. I skipped the bear and the moose. I will try the emu tonight, I think, but I will not be having any wild boar. |
I had venison and emu, and what I think was fish.
Pete had bear and wild boar and moose. We both had Corsican Ram. |
We had taco wraps and cookies. Nom nom.

For the first time since moving into my new place, I cooked.....yay!!!
I made my version of Bistec ala Mexicana With help from a Mexican lady at work yesterday, we went to a Carniceria I picked up some Arranchera and was in heaven that I could get it out here They also had a bakery there and made tortillas I brought home, warm out of the oven hot, corn tortillas that were to die for |
