Last night I took out some red sauce I put in the freezer to warm so we could have some spaghetti so while it was cooking I added some hard boiled eggs and a few links of good Italian sausage to cook in the sauce.I know it sounds kinda weird but it is really good, kinda one of those things that you should try first before you judge it.Anyway sauce and skettie with fresh hot french bread, all was eaten down to my son swabbing the last of the sauce out of the pot with a chunk of french bread. No desert we couldn't have eaten it if I made it.

Balsamic glazed pork tenderloin, jasmine rice, steamed cauliflower and carrots. (Fudge cheesecake for dessert)

Meatloaf. I love meatloaf. My worship of the meatloaf faeries is legendary. I've traded kingdoms for proper meatloaves. There is no more perfect food than a properly seasoned, moist, tender, juicy meatloaf. Smoosh the potatoes, pass the ketchup, and pray there'll be a little bit left for tomorrow's lunch.
Got a heavenly EASY recipe? pass it on pls.

I DO !! I love chicken and dumplings especially the ones made from scratch. I also love apple pie.

I made homemade soup for dinner and it's delicious if I do say so myself.

So, lets swap leftover bowls eh?

I'd swap!!! I would love a good soup right now (especially one I didn't have to cook)... What's for dessert though? That'd be the tell!

Tonight I cooked chicken roasted thighs with garlic & mushrooms, then topped with a mango/avocado/cayenne salsa and served with sauteed zucchini, sweet pepper and onion, and a small baked sweet potato.

Orema 01-26-2015 06:36 PM

Greek salad with char-broiled chicken and vegetables (zucchini and bell peppers) with lettuce, olives, onion, tomatoes, cucumbers, artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, pepperoncinis, feta cheese, greek dressing.

I'm not good with deserts, I'd have to try maybe baking some toll house chocochip cookies with either m&ms in them or a hershey's kiss in the middle all melted and gooey. I can't have but a little desert so you'd get most of the cookies. I'm diabetic. :)

PS: too bad you live soo far away. Where is that again? 10,000 lakes? what state please remind me again, as my memory fails me.

I diced up fresh mushrooms and bell peppers really fine then added the meat and a ton of spices (garlic powder, onion powder, onion chips, white pepper and cracked black pepper and Italian seasonings) with chipotle bbq sauce and it's delicious! I had it with Red Robin steak fries last night and I'm most likely having it again tonight unless something else piques my interest more.

See above, although I warn you....I think ketchup cooked on meatloaf is a crime. If you want to dunk it, that's fine but hot ketchup, with the nasty skin on it, is just not right and I cannot condone it.

Chicken Udon :-)

ruffryder 01-26-2015 10:28 PM

I had hot and sour soup and a couple spring rolls
