Divergent - not an Academy Award winner, but I do recommend it

Haven't seen it, but the previews remind me of my favorite book "This Perfect Day" by Ira Levin.

I just watched The Reader with Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes.

Definitely a great movie...as ever I was surprised by the story line. I remembered hearing things about it when it came out so as soon as I saw it I just grabbed it...worth the wait for sure..

So watched "12 years a slave". Last night.

After reading the book, I was disappointed. Major parts of Mr. Northup's struggle were left out.

I am still glad I watched it.

I haven't had television for years and discovered in my new location it's available over the air. In HD. For free. Like about 50 channels of it. :blink:

I still don't like or want to watch it in particular (I can't tolerate commercials) BUT there's an "oldies movies" channel. :cheesy:

So tonight I'm watching "Barefoot In The Park" and "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner"

I watched Red again...hadn't seen it in at least a year. It's a fantastic flick...

They should've stopped while they were ahead. I know I watched part 2 but can't remember a single thing I liked about it....

Last night and Sunday night I watched a two night mini series on lifetime called The Red Tent. It was a really good movie !

Christmas with the Kranks...... We agreed to never be that crazy

I broke down and watched Frozen finally..bring on the sequel :movieguy:

It was so-so, Gemme.
Although, I will say that J.G's acting in this role was impressive...he's becoming quite versatile in his acting, which to me, shows true talent.
