Lighting a virtual candle for my friend, Ms. Camilla, who is 99(?) years old and has pneumonia. She's been in the hospital for a week and they tell me she's getting better with each day—her family is amazed she's come this far.

Up until last month she was still dying her hair herself, but they took away her driving privileges about a year ago when she broke her pelvis bone. Though, she refuses to sell her car because she's determined to drive again. I'd gladly go for a ride with her.

Here's hoping she's back home soon.

Lighting a candle for my buddy Elisa. She and her partner lost their little dog, Hartley, to coyotes over the holidays. I haven't spoken with her so I don't know the details, but I know she's not doing well.

Coyotes are no joke in Southern Cali.

Lighting a candle for my parents and my sweet sister so they will always have a guiding light on the other side. I miss you all so very very much. Only my brother and myself left. His wife died this year.

I am so sorry for your friends. We have coyotes here too and it is horrific. The pain and suffering is heart breaking. I will think of your friends.

Light a candle for mom and dad and my beautiful sister Shirley. I think of you daily and miss you beyond measure.

Light a candle for my large and vibrant family that was murdered in the Holocaust leaving only my parents, one uncle, one aunt.

It is a fact that I never forget and will never let my two little grandsons to forget. They are the narrow remaining future of that family.

I look up at the sky often and ask my parents and all of them to look out for them and keep them safe.

Lighting candles today for my exes family, my kids. Also Chris one of our deputies, died in a motorcycle accident and also my niece's Papaw. All died in the past week. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. RIP my friends

Hey all, I know I’m not on here much anymore, but can everyone please pray and light a candle for my wife? They admitted her yesterday- she’s in Afib and her cardiac enzymes are way up. She turned 78 this year and has been declining for awhile now.

Lighting candles for my niece, Bey-Bey, and grandniece, Summer. Summer has COVID-19 and Bey ain’t feeling well.

They’re quarantined and stocked up on everything they need, but it’s scary.

Lighting a candle for my friend in Florida. She has had Covid since August 7th been in and out of the hospital on oxygen back to hospital and is back home but still sick and weak. Guess maybe you call it long haul not sure.

Lighting a candle and saying a pray for my Daddy. Took him to ER last night and they kept him and of course nobody can stay with him and he doesn't understand why. He doesn't even understand why he is there. Hope he don't think we don't love him.

Former President Jimmy Carter, the 39th president of the United States, is moving to hospice care. Carter is 98 years old and served as president from 1977 to 1981.

The Carter Center issued this statement:

"After a series of short hospital stays, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention. He has the full support of his family and his medical team. The Carter family asks for privacy during this time and is grateful for the concern shown by his many admirers."
