Groceries. It was one of those grocery trips where I was out of everything, well everything except meat because I buy that online. Of course it started pouring down rain as soon as I got out of the truck and locked the door, so by the time I got into Publix I was soaked...but the rain felt good. :)

Books of course...used...classical music...pathopsychology.
..formal.logic....etc lol..

I stopped at a few yard sales... and found...

... a glass chess set
... some drag clothes for my daughter
... a really soft new pillow

Car repairs and an early dinner at the local coffee shop.

Last night I ordered a mandoline slicer for slicing jicama to use as taco shells. After ordering it, I realized all of the stuff it can do to make prep time quicker so now I am really stoked and can barely wait for it to arrive tomorrow.

Now I will be a veggie slicing ninja! :ninja: <---so not a good ninja emoji

- a DVD player that still has RCA jacks for my ancient TV
- a boatload of Cream of Tomato soup, because I was at WM where it's really cheap, and I hardly ever shop there

A tray with cup holders to go over my spouse's Walker, cow hooves for the dogs, dog food, coffee, meds, groceries, a roast at the butcher shop.:hangloose:

- couple of 8' long 2 x4's ... going covert special ops building my snake traps ... plan to modify my mossberg 12 gauge chainsaw model shotgun ... taking the chainsaw gadgie off and replacing it with a vertical forend ... replacing pistol grip with a stock ... or buy a Remington 870 police magnum 12 gauge short barrel ... I already took a carton of fresh eggs from the fridge this morning ... left them out on the kitchen counter all day

A 5 day parking pass, for next week.
I also updated my passport.
And pre-paid for a four day getaway over Labor Day weekend.

My response was to immediately feel sick to my stomach with worry that they didn't wash the car well enough before putting wax on it. I saw all the left over dirt being rubbed into the paint. Of course, I also had concerns about the brand of wax, but then I caught myself being crazy, so I shut down that thought process and moved to the next post.

I shut it down pretty quickly too, so I was pretty proud of that.

Now you have me thinking about whatever-the-name-of Gemme's Neon is, all over again. Thanks, Bro.

Full disclosure...I did have a moment of thinking waxing = neither regions, but quickly decided Gemme wouldn't share that..I don't think she would anyway.
