Just out of curiosity, has your listing agent suggested or done a Matterport tour of your condo so that people can get a good viewing without going inside either locally or from long-distance?

The reason I ask is that the house that I bought a little while ago had one of these tours and it made a huge difference in my confidence to place a bid from across country. I was the high bid and they got it largely due to the quality of tour that I could do offsite. Since we are going into a new three week lockdown it might be helpful for you to keep germy people out of your unit and to encourage others out of the area.

Thanks, Kelt. I’ll speak with her about it tomorrow. I haven’t used it for viewing condos in Michigan but will discuss with this realtor for viewing here. Haven’t even heard of it.

I think a problem with a Matterport or any virtual tour is that my place looks larger in photos and video than it is.

I”m thinking of suspending views for awhile but now is a really good time to buy and sell. We’ll see.

Well I was looking at youtubes funny kittens and puppies and came across animals that had been abused by their owners and I will NOT go into details as they are horrific. I remember them in real life from when I spent 13 yrs working at an animal clinic. I think that people who abuse the elderly, children and animals should be dealt with by public vote. I myself think the abusers should be given the same treatment as their victims. The truth? This is the first time I have shed a tear in quite a while but I sure did seeing some of those poor little helpless souls.

Orema - we might be miles apart - however, I am doing the exact same thing minus the fluff thread perusal ;). I have sliding glass doors in My new place in the living room that lead to the deck and I am trying to think of how I want to cover them temporarily until I do some real shopping. I think My sister came up with a good idea. Is camo in? (laughing).

Camo may cause the neighbors to be concerned :blink:

I also have living room sliding glass doors leading to a deck. I’m using large boxes to cover the doors for now. I expect to get complaints if I don’t take care of this soon. Think I’ll go with shutters or wood blinds and add curtains in late spring.

At first I was dreading the unpacking part, but I’m starting to enjoy it because I’m finding things I need (clock radio dock, scissors, shoes).

Here’s to creative, if not perfect, solutions!

Eating an apple, half listening to a radio talk show discussing Covid and texting with a friend on their lunch break while I wait for a virtual appointment to start.

Still binge watching Alone with my sister and still procrastinating homework. I have to work tomorrow - so I should REALLY be doing the homework - obviously that has taken a serious back seat in this process. I need some motivation. :|
