You may!

First was Michael's, because I had to return something. I got Dylusions and Tim Holtz clear stamps (coupon!), a small decorative box (sale!) and a package of wooden letters (clearance!). Then Jo-Ann's because they are in the same plaza, the demons that they are. I got a SHIT TON of punches from them as I had a 25% off total purchase coupon plus the punches were 40% off, plus some stamps and one clearance item. I have a real stamp fetish, especially the clear, cling stamps. I actually save about 40% of what I spent overall so it was a fantastic haul and my punches have a lifetime warranty so if they break the manufacturer replaces it. Then AC Moore was on my way back. I had another coupon for total purchase and I got some basics: stencil, paints, Sharpies and they had their Nicole washi tape on sale so I got some rolls of that. I have a washi tape fetish too and snatch it up when it's on sale, even though I know how to make my own.

Although I buy crafty stuff all the time, yesterday's haul was a major splurge. I do this about 3-4 times a year if it's a good year and the sales work out to my advantage. Watch the holiday ads. They go crazy trying to get people in!

Hobby Lobby is further up the road, but I boycott them due to their politics. Same with Chik fil A, which is in the same plaza that Michael's and Jo-Ann's is and that makes me angry when I see them because I freakin' love their food. Bastids!!!

Nothing yet. But I plan to take my youngest son out for supper tonight, after I top off the gas tank and go for another long drive.

GeorgiaMa'am 09-04-2016 05:46 PM

I bought a full body massage today - the first one I've had in about a year! It was so, so, scrumptious!

Treated myself to a good one... tired of flat pillows!

bright_arrow 09-04-2016 11:17 PM

Went to Target for toothpaste, walked out with toothpaste, makeup brushes, a bag of cat food and cans of wet food, snacks for our Memorial Day road trip, and personal pan pizzas because we had a lot to get done!

Also bought a dual car charger at Verizon for our new SUV and a USB drive to load music onto, because streaming gets expensive!

6- 1 liter bottles of Peach flavored sparkling water. I wanted the Key Lime but the store was out of it.

Gemme 09-05-2016 11:52 AM

I bought a bag of buttons.

EnderD_503 09-05-2016 12:00 PM

Just some grocery shopping. Bought 2 cartons of cashew milk (been on sale lately, wanted to try it out, I like it more than any other non-dairy milk I ever tried actually), 2 cans of chickpeas, 1 can lentils, 1 pack of shredded Daiya, two loafs of bread. Think that's it.

you might try making your own with raw cashews or almonds..the difference between making your own and buying it is night and day..it's really worth the effort!

Yeah, I was thinking of that after seeing some recipes on pinterest, but it would come out to be a bit pricey for me to do regularly. Buying enough raw cashews even from a bulk store to make the equivalent of a carton would end up costing more than the carton unfortunately :(

vixenagogo 09-05-2016 01:14 PM

blow me.

a box of tissues.

True that. And the shelf life is wicked short. It's quite unfortunate.

cinnamongrrl 09-05-2016 07:55 PM

The mostly pumpkin issue of Food Network magazine...which I'm currently perusing.

Ironically, the recipe I'm most excited about atm is cardamom Apple crisp made in an iron skillet...and all I need to make it is apples and cardamon

Jesse 09-06-2016 08:56 AM

Spring water, organic pitted kalamata olives, pepperoncinis, Greek potato salad, baby romaine, feta, avocados, tomatoes, baby portabellas, red sweet peppers, lo carb tortillas, and a BD card for my step Mom.

Damn if I didn't forget to buy mustard! I may have just said that out loud

Just on the border!

GeorgiaMa'am 09-06-2016 03:27 PM

$60-some worth of postage stamps.
  • A supply of postcard stamps because, they were on my mind - plus, they have the coolest Modernist-ish bird designs, a la Charlie Harper.
  • A book of stamps called Colorful Celebration that look like laser-cut designs.
  • A book of stamps with old Ford trucks on them - including an aquamarine 1965 Ford F-100, which my dad will totally get a kick out of, because he still has one for real and it's still running.
  • The Piece de Resistance! 3 SHEETS OF STAR TREK STAMPS! I got lucky because they were just released 4 days ago. I will probably use 2 sheets and save one, just cuz. They are so cool, y'all. Here's a link: https://www.usps.com/stamps/star-trek.htm

Gayandgray 09-06-2016 08:20 PM

Gayandgray 09-09-2016 06:10 PM

easygoingfemme 09-09-2016 08:03 PM

Dinner out with my book club. Pad Thai and a glass of white wine.

cinnamongrrl 09-09-2016 08:18 PM

I purged some stuff at the thrift store. And bought a couple things too...

A book called The Soul of Sex..kind of philosophical...about sex...weird but interesting...

What I THOUGHT was a wide valance that I could cut into two curtains. Its actually a runner but I'm still going to have curtains out of it. The print is so cute! And I'll have enough material left over to make a pillow

A cute flippy skirt...black with different colored flowers. $3 and it's Ralph Lauren come to find out

A paint roller

Lunch slash dinner

Kätzchen 09-10-2016 11:53 AM

A waterproof purse (bag?) To add to my collection of purses.
There's enough room in it to store all my stuff (money, phone, ID, makeup, lip stick, knife, rope, emergency supply of food and clean water to drink). I even have waterproof Hello Kitty stickers to put on it, too. :)

:stillheart:

New Britta filters, a DVD player for the RV, flip-flops, area rugs and a runner for the RV.

Still waiting on my car to finish getting fixed and a service. Will be paying for the service and new windshield wipers. My wipers are so shredded they just flop around. The GF tried to clean my windshield the other day and just looked at me and said, "Really?"
