Tomorrow. Amazing time with friends in Santa Fe. Supposed to be going hiking tomorrow
In a magnificent spot. Laughing so hard I had to lie down because I couldn't sit anymore. Taos and Earthships Sunday. But the coolest thing of all using a camera to take Pics instead of a phone. My camera is WiFi and I am loving sending Pics to others who appreciate seeing new places. Ok did send pic of great margarita before it disappeared into my mouth. I will tell you the altitude makes that drink kick ass. Lol. |

I'm looking forward to Mother's Day next weekend! Can't wait to surprise my mom with the lovely day we have planned for her on Sunday. And when she comes home after work on Saturday to the gardens and yard all done up with flower beds and hanging baskets and flower pots! Gonna be a lot of work but so worth the it for the smile on her face when she sees it!

2.5 weeks off at the end of June! Just enough time to get my sleep/wake schedule good and confused again before I have to go back to work, lol.

After having to postpone a vacation, I'm happy to see a 3 day weekend of sorts heading my way. So, it's Sun, Mon,Tues. that will work! And then a planned day off at the end of the month ;) |

.....which will consist of a looooooong road trip to see my mom in Illinois, then on to Texas to visit the dear wife's side of the family and to see Mom-in-Law and Stepdad-In-Law and the stepchildren. :) :heartbeat::awww: It's been a long time since I've made a loooooooong road trip, but since I'm now retired, it's time to enjoy the time on the road with the lovely gal who shares my name. I have to admit....I love truck stop buffets. In the South, they have the BEST cooked veggies, potatoes and meat!!! I'm looking forward to good ol' fashioned Southern food, too.....like seasoned collard greens and cast iron skillet-baked corn bread!! :winky::heartbeat: Meanwhile, my little gang of 5 :frog:'s is going to be hating on dear wife and me for leaving them at the vet's for boarding. We're going to leave them in their frog house while they're boarded, then when we return, they are getting a new BIGGER frog house!! I have 5 of them now......two boys (Simon and Alvin), and three very sizeable girls (Dolly, Bella and Maddie), and they love each other's company. Just came in to water up and cool down.
Wood bones be gone! I am getting rid of these scrap pieces where I cut wood to make something and the rest got tossed aside. Loading my truck now to haul to the trash. After that, will mow the lawn. Really looking forward to completing these two tasks! |
