The musician is Dr. Michael DeMaria, a psychologist and a friend of mine. He is a talented artist that uses his gifts of music in his practice to promote healing. We have thought of taking some of the drumming into the advanced Alzheimer's unit here to help reduce anxiety and fearfulness in many patients that cannot communicate.
