EUREKA...I found them..
After whining to kaijira again..., she said ...did you check your backpacks, etc. Well, I had not checked my briefcase..since I retired ya know.:cigar2:..

There they are, and they will be in the mail tomorrow to each of you, along with a belated valentine package to you once known by another name.

I just want to take a little moment to say a big thank-you to all the "wranglers" out there. It's one thing for me to get my project in on time and quite another to ride herd on everyone else's as well. Even when things don't go as smoothly as planned (no good deed goes unpunished and all that) I very much appreciate all the time y'all put into organizing things!

So I have a question/s about the swap -- Do we have to do 13+ half sheets or just 1 and it will just be swapped with another folk? I understand we need to make an extra for M/J (no clarity on that). And does it have to be that large?? Could we have something like 5x7 or 4x6??

ahk, Tommi is correct, we will be making one for each person participating plus an extra one for Medusa & Jack. I am going to say this about the size, because there is a chance someone has started this already, I will keep it the same. However, if anyone wants to make them 5 X 7 because it will work better for your art, I will accept it! This is all about having fun!

Tommi, so glad you found the missing Valentines! I look forward to getting mine!

Thanks for the clarification. and to NYCFEM too! But since, there is not a limit on how many folks are signing up, I'm just going to have to back out on this project. Maybe next time when its a smaller group or a smaller project.

ahk and CCB, I am so sorry you're out...but it is a lesson I'm learning on my first wrangling, and I agree with you that the size of the group might have been better off a limited number. Next time. I don't feel I can change that at this point since thre are 2 more days to sign up and I feel the need to stick to my word in case there was any other BFP artists thinking about participating. If no one else signs up and you choose to come back, it's OK. Thanks for the lesson!

I got my valentine's! All I can say is, we got talent here!

Thank you Tommi for your efforts. My Valentine's day has turned into a week plus!

Onto the spring project. I'm ending up making 14 to include some friends. Can I just say, there will be Inchies involved...like 126 of them. I'm busy ! But nothing else I'd rather do :) ( well...you know ;). )

It's a piece of art made on a 1 X 1 inch square. Similar to the idea of an Artist Trading Card, but scaled down.

I wrangled an inchie swap a little while ago and you would be surprised what you can do within an inch!!! Everyone's ideas were amazing.

But 126 of them? Holy shit. I don't know how you guys do it sometimes! Everything takes me forever, which sometimes makes it difficult to sign up for projects.

It is 40 degrees (yes, above zero!) in Minnesota and the sun has been peeking out from under the clouds!

How are the projects coming along? You have about a week and a few days to get them in the mail to me along with $3-$5 dollars to defray postage costs...I need them by the 21st!

I hope you're all having fun doing them, I am starting mine now that I have all the supplies I needed!

Good to hear people checking in here and letting me know where they are...I'm allowing a few extra days for people, but definitely will be mailing out the packages for everyone to see other's artwork by the 29th, so everyone should be able to see everyone else's by the next weekend. :cheesy: :cheer:
