July 3rd is our 6 year Wedding Anniversary!

Sitting in Goodyear waiting on truck repair. Brought a book. Looking forward to the repairs being completed. I called my supervisor last night and said I would not be in the office today. I want to get home and get the grass mowed and then commerce to check off from my list other outdoor work-related activities.

Thought my serpentine belt belt had snapped last night but when I popped the hood, could see it wasn't the belt. Now thinking alternator. So thankful I have $$$ to get it fixed.

The way I try and look at things ---->>>> there are no big deals anymore - only inconveniences. But I do have to laugh at myself about how I acted last night. The tow service did not get to me for 2 hours instead of the 45 minutes as promised. I was so hot, had sweated all my clothes (everything, even socks) sopping wet and very pissed off. My friend, Cille, just laughed and laughed at my "special words" tantrum. :)

A road time at some point this summer. I do not even care where I go.

Just booked my flights to Munich and London in Sept/Oct. Firts trip outside the US in more than 5 years.

second step: water well dug
third(and most expensive) : septic
and in the meanwhile im working on solar

I'm looking forward to heading out of state this weekend with my best gal. I get to introduce her to my family and hopefully let her see a side of me most people don't get to see. Maybe through her my family will see and accept me as I am now. You never know. :stillheart: I also hope to give her the opportunity to experience some new things. :)
