I made a quiche with spinach, onion, mushrooms, and mozzarella ..served with hash browns and toast

spicy turkey sausage

I ate rotisserie chicken sprinkled with sea salt....

I wasn't hungry til it got dark...and cooler...

What can I say...summer turns me into a vampire...

Its possible it may just be bran flakes with blueberries

Bean enchiladas (mix of black beans, mushed pinto beans, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and cumin and cheese) served with Mexican rice.

young blood will be having cheese brats, rice and a veggie

I had smoked blackened salmon, & smoked mullet with collards and green beans. Then I bought some of the fish to go, for dinners at home this week. Good stuff!

Homemade broccoli cheese soup. Also made homemade hamburger bbq

Chicken nuggets, sweet kernel corn and sweet tea for a drink

- hummus
- kalamata olive tapenade
- pita chips
- a Jello salad with pecans, carrots, pineapple and cottage cheese

I had jalapeno/cilantro hummus with reduced guilt tortilla chips and a package of Tahitian vanilla caramels...all courtesy of Trader Joe's....

Still don't want to fire up the stove....Asheville is having a week of 90 degree weather...

Left over treats from the weekend barbecue: smoked artichoke hearts, smoked Salmon, Lime jello cheesecake pie (2 slices!), and a small, early season, potato casserole - which was made with mozzarella cheese and jalapeño and a toasted almond crust. Simply divine.

tonight:

taco salad (burger with onion/chile powder/cumin/coriander) over spinach with avocado, pico de gallo (made by wife) and small amount of cheddar.

I'm thinking a garlic herb zuchinni and mushroom pasta

Peameal (Canadian) bacon

Thats so sad.. at 90 degrees, i feel like weve bern graced by god with a cold front. Thats in comparison to 100. Which we havent really hit yet. Keep those tropical storms a coming!
