Fantasy Sports
Does anyone but me participate in fantasy sports programs?
I usually use Yahoo and am proud of my lil trophies. Interesting how I do better in sports I don't know much about i.e. basketball. Looking for folks who know something about baseball cuz my teams are sucking the big one this year and I can't figure how to turn them around. |

My draft is supposed to be tonight. I may have to change that unless I can get at least one more manager. I'm trying hard. . LOL Time to start messaging people individually! haha.. I'm excited. Need to brush up on the players. A lot has changed since last season! Looking forward to this NFL season..

So basically I didn't know anyone in the league and they didn't know me which was fine. There was a little smack talking but it didn't bother me. I think I still did pretty good for a newbie if memory serves me right. I like FF a lot, so much so I've started my own leagues pretty much every year since then. My league is all full up and I am happy to say the team managers seem really into it more than ever this year. I'm excited about drafting Thursday night!!!! WHUT WHUT!!!!! FEAR THE UNICORN!!! Fantasy Baseball!

It's been a couple years since I was in a league but I played and have won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place tropies. I'm not boasting, I'm just saying it's almost a job to get on the computer to keep up with daily stats, injuries, and watch Baseball Tonight on ESPN. I don't remember the name of the websites but you can usually find out who's going to be pitching against your team mates the next day and you can look up to see how your players have historically done against that pitcher, in that ballpark and with that information you can make a decision whether to play them or bench them for the next game. That's how I played it. |

Had my draft Monday night.. This is what I ended up.
I'm pretty happy with it. We only have 10 teams so I'm sure everyone got some great players! I'm ready for some football! (: QB - Romo, E. Spelling error there. Both should say Woodhead. Danny Woodhead is a rb version of Wes Wekler that the Patriots picked up when the Jets cut him early last year. He is short, compact, and fearless. He did rb and special teams last year. He is a risk given the Patriot committee approach to the game but I just like the guy. |

Dear Nate Kaeding: I couldn't talk about this before now, but HOLY FREAKING CRAP, SERIOUSLY? Opening kickoff? You're like the icing on the craptacular cake that is my fantasy football team.
On top of that I had Steve Smith benched, and I started the Pats D instead of the Bears. Anybody else have a rough week? |

I recently took my league off waivers. didn't see the point in it or waiting to pick someone up.. I need to get in gear and set my players today! I've waited till the last minute the last 2 weeks but thankfully I pulled off wins! haha..

Been rolling with E. Manning as my QB and this week I'm choosing Stafford because those Giants are playing the niners. See how this turns out on my biggest move for the week. Also changed kickers since my original was on a bye week and moved some WRs. See if I can end up 6-0 at the end of this week ! |
Wow ruff, I am impressed. What players are you winning with? My teams are sucking big time. Am heavy on Packers, Patriots, and Steelers. I am replacing the replacements with even worse replacements. My best team is 2-3, the rest are 1-4. LOL. I lost in the first round of 2 survival teams. This is not my football year. |

QB - E. Manning and Stafford. been playing Manning till this week, Although Stafford has been getting more fantasy points in my league.
WR - A.J. Green, Dwayne Bowe, Eric Decker, Wes Welker TE - T. Gonzalez and the Falcons are 5-0. :) Finley and Tamme. Haven't played Tamme yet. Guess he's a backup if needed since he's not really scoring points. RB - Ray Rice, Michael Turner - again from those dirty birds, Matt Forte. My kicker has been from the Saints but they are on a bye week so I chose the Bronco one this week. Been playing Giants DEF and this week I'm playing DET DEF. Then I have 3 defensive players. |
