I like them both but Slurpee's probably a bit more. Yes, there is a difference. Oh, and they must always be Coca Cola. None of that new fangled Citrus Blast b.s.
And not that you asked, but grape is my favorite Sno-Cone flavor with blue coconut running a close second. :) |

Slurpee for sure! In college, we'd do "slurpee runs" to the 7-11 down the street. I always enjoyed the teeniest size in the Coke flavor. I can't get them in larger sizes because it takes me *forever* to finish 'em. Now, I wish they had better diet/sugar free flavors.

You can get a Pepsi ICEE, not sure about Slurpee. They have tons of Slurpee flavors, I just never paid attention when I was actually able to get one because I bee-lined it to the Coca-Cola Slurpee spigot.

Slurpees are more slurpable. Hence the name. I go with Coca Cola or Dr. Pepper. I see they have Barq's Rootbeer. All these years I thought it was called Bangs Rootbeer. :|

Gayla, you were a lot closer than I was. I've drank the root beer plenty of times. I don't know how I could have been so far off. I will blame it on my poor eyesight. It really is Barq- the company was started by Edward and Gaston Barq in New Orleans.

Coke Icee. Cherry is second. They're best at a movie, with nachos.
I like the lightness of Icees. Slurpees have a more liquid texture with bits of ice. Or, do I remember it incorrectly? |

Never had one, probably never will. Call it a Canadian thang. Just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to pay for what you could get free by dragging a plastic cup through any available snow bank and sprinkling on a little food colouring. :confused:
A little tip: Don't try to save money by thinking the yellow snow already has the food colouring in it. :walking-poodle: :mountie: |
