Butch picture thread ..
I am surprised there is no butch picture thread.
Ya know pictures of the butches who write on here. It really would save working through galleries to see who your talking to ? Sorta like faces in one thread ? Or is there one already I haven't seen ? |

Why don't we just do away with the gallery and post all our pictures in one place?
Oh wait... Seriously, I don't see how this would be easier than clicking on the convenient profile link to the left there. It's easier to look through the galleries than to scroll through 15 pages of a thread. |

I've always been stubborn about the off=site photo sites. I can't be bothered. :)
the upload to the gallery was easy however, i guess i would like to be able to put images in here. why can't i just "browse"??? :( why is it that it can be done with browse in the gallery but out here it takes a host site? |

I thought the reason we did not have a photo thread is because admin once told us that they prefer that we did not. Daywalker (I think) already had the idea for a photo thread once before. Admin gave us reasons why it was not a good idea. I think something to do with bandwidth or one of those technical term thingys. I don't see a problem with clicking under someone's name either. Then again, sometimes I'm a bit crotchety myself. lol

if Bandwidth was a worry, why is there a Youtube thread and "find me a picture" thread.
I don't mind clicking under names too. I would rather someone click for my picture because they enjoyed what I said. Other than seeing my picture and then looking to see if I am smart. |

Ah, found it. Not so technical after all, but a reason nonetheless. "Using a thread as a gallery space circumvents the intent of the gallery and also lessens the value of the gallery space." Whether or not this is still the case, I don't know. Just throwing it out there.

Not going to make an assumption. When my wife and I had our memberships we had plenty of space to post anything we wanted within the TOS. One of these days when the government decides to get their collective heads out of their collective rears we might be able to do so again. Til then we are limited on how many pics we post. Works for us. |

I think Merlin posted this because on the Brit BF sites we have such picture threads in both the butch and femme zones. Also on the Brit sites you don't have to pay for membership to add more than a couple of pics to your gallery...but then we are much smaller sites over here and therefore less bandwidth is necessary.
Just sayin' ...not trying to speak for Merlin who I'm sure will come back and tell y'all why hy posted this thread. |
I think a thread posting that you added "Eye Candy" to your gallery would be good. I'd personally love to see some butches post sexy an provocative pics showing off. If I'm missing anything then bloody hell point me in the right direction! lol

Everyone who registers is a member, and yes, yes you get some space to upload pics!
Subscription holders get extra space depending on type of subscription :) Hint: If you resize photos to be smaller, you can upload more. LOL. Good luck PS... I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but there are threads for feminine images and a masculine images thread. Perhaps the images you wish to post would fall into one or both of those categories. |
