The GOOD NEWS Thread
Sometimes, I wonder why I watch the news.....in our sensationalized world, it's a bit overwhelming at times.....
So I thought it might be refreshing to share GOOD NEWS.....these are the stories that warm our hearts....good people doing good deeds....'paying-it-forward' stories....heroes.... ENJOY! :angel: |
Remember that convenience store owner ~ was it in NY? ~ who stood up to the robber? And when he did, the robber went down to her knees.....and the shop owner gave him a loaf of bread and $40.
WELL. The robber just wrote the store owner....it seems he got his act together....his wife just had a baby, he got a job and sent the store owner a fifty dollar bill, and thanked him for helping him. I love that story! |
What an awesome idea for a thread, Diva! I haven't heard any good news today, but I'll let you know when I do. :)

Have You heard about Nonja (pronounced: NOHN~ya), the orangutan in the Vienna Zoo, who was given a camera and has been taking some neat pictures of herself and her buddies? She has learned that, when she twists the knob, a raisin pops out.....she gets the raisins....but we get these neat pictures!
