What is your Bliss?
 

Hello All,

This is a thought that runs through my mind every day.....it's kind if like a gratitude list but different. What in my life gives me bliss? The order may change at times but there is always a constant and that's my girl.

Here is the definition of bliss...

bliss (bls)

1. Extreme happiness; ecstasy.
2. The ecstasy of salvation; spiritual joy.

To go into a state of ecstasy.

My bliss is a lovely long hike...preferably to water or a summit....this is a bliss that I will be receiving tomorrow! :)

I have numerous others...but that's the one I'm anxious to have soonly....that and going to bed soon and snuggling with my honey bear <3

My bliss today is seeing the most amazing, complete rainbow on the way in to work !!! It was incredible.

My bigger bliss today is picking up my son tonight for the weekend and he even gets to come to work with me tomorrow.....LOVE my job !!!

My bliss is all the friendships I have made.

My Bliss

Today I found that for the first time I can really hear musical notes nearly totaly clear.Why??Well I bought an old violin from the goodwill last week,I was going to just clean it up then use ot for decorations on the wall.Insted I bought strings for it,a new bow,plus after cleaning all the crud off it from being in somones attic it really has a mellow aged sheen to the wood.Then I spent time tuning her up,by goddess the sound from her is pure,clean and crisp..and takes my breath away.I feel like I have held something like this in a past life so it was ment to be.This is my bliss for today.

Drinking a hot skinny latte (not iced, yaya!) in the rain! *bliss*

Today's bliss for me is having my son and my partner together.....she is so amazing with him and he adores her its "blissful" to watch, enjoy and be a part of <3

going grocery shopping with chrissy and giggling over his parade of torments he puts everyone through. He is a heckler, in a nice way, and god help the check out person, the waitress, the ticket person at the movie theater...lol. It makes them smile, long after we are gone.

bliss is also found in the fluff of a winter pony, inhaling in the smell of a horse, and the feel of one between my thighs...

crisp clean air
meditation to the flames and coals...lost in time
watching a huge owl silently soar over me to the tree top..then listening to him hoot to other owls who respond in a beautiful harmony ...
the warmth from fire a stark contrast to chilly skin under cold night air..

Laughing my ass off
Intimate late dinner with near strangers with really good wine and conversation flowing
Lying together and speaking a deeper older language
Perfect spicy Bloody Marys with breakfast
Taking the scenic route home listening to Ravi Shankar

Sleeping until I could sleep no more. Only thing that would make it better is if my honey was at home, but instead hy is at the range to shoot to qualify for work :cigar2:

Hello All.....

Catching up on my last few days of bliss :)

Watching my girl work, she is amazing at her job and loves what she does and it shows !!!

Seeing the ocean....any day....any time.

My son and I having a few loving conversations....he is growing up so fast.

Laughing until I cried because my son and my girl are two peas in a pod....they both love to play the what if? game. They are so much alike....I guess cause their birthday day is only two days apart.

Being able to leave work early to go home and take care of my sick girl.....something I could not have done before.

My bliss is..... two days off with my honey bear....spent the day in Vermont yesterday....then attended a useful seminar for my sister.....tonight we are making dinner and having a relaxing night.... <3 <3

Being able to swallow food, pain free, for the first time in 4 days!! And, probably losing a few pounds hahahha *blisssss*

A lazy morning in bed.
Me and my omelette and her and her French toast at our favorite brunch spot.
Lying on a blanket at Tanglewood listening to Wynton Marsalis live.
