......of dating..what do you want to see and what do you hopefully not see in the people you date or see? ....i find my tastes and must haves have changed so much as time goes by...what are your 'nevers' or what makes you hopeful or happy? and i wish there was another way of getting to know someone..It's not hard, on a first date or even the tenth, to make the worse impression...how do you undue it? Can you change their minds or do you have to live with your mistakes??

If you meet and think you would like to get involved, be honest. Getting to know each other can avoid dissapointment later on. If you like something say so. If you don't care for certain things, say so. If you are asked about something answer with the truth. I would make it fair up front while we messaged that I do not wish to get involved with a woman who drinks too much and often. I do not want to be with a smoker or illegal drug user. I do not like facial tattoos. I myself do not drink or smoke or take other than prescribed drugs. I do not like hearing unnecessary vulgar talk.
I do like honesty and kindness and respect from her and myself. I like to talk things over so the result of talk makes the situation satisfactory to both parties. I would like to have open communication for both parties as it makes life much more enjoyable. I like if things are not up to par she can say so openly as can I . |

When you find yourself becoming uncomforatable in a situation step back and think. It is easy to fall when it is something you want but it could be like jumping back in the fire, so, stay guarded and try to keep guarded moments close. How many times need repetition when you finally have to make a stand and wait to see how things go as opposed to feeling bitter again. What we want may not be what is best for us.
