I am definitely looking forward to a weekend getaway with my love and listening to lots of live down-home blues.

I (officially) have 2 months until my vacation. I am looking forward to (at the very least) just being able to sleep in.

I'm looking forward to summer vacation... 2 days left of work before I get two months off!!

Tomorrows auction..bidding on a John Deere garden tractor with a belly mower, scrape, and tiller attachments also front end weights and wheel weights. Only bad thing about it is it is only a 48" deck. But I'm excited about it.

Tomorrow night we go to the Women's FIFA match... China vs USA. I'm hoping USA wins and they whip off their jerseys ( in joyful celebration, of course).

Looking forward to Cruisin' Grand with some friends tonight. We'll do some people (butch) watching, have a brew or two, chow down, hear some music, and look at all the hot-rods, vintage trucks, and cool bikes. Life could be worse.

We are going to a Pride celebration tonight, and my best friend and her hubby are in town from out of state and will be going with us. I'm so stoked that they are able to come along.

This morning I set a date with an old softball buddy of mine to get together and throw the ball. Neither of us have thrown in years. It's likely to end up more like a game of fetch, but I am sure it will be good for a few laughs.

Edited to add: I called my dad to ask him if he knew where my glove was, because I knew it had to be somewhere at my parents' house. He asked if I needed the catcher's mask and shin guards, too. Probably not a bad idea. Lol

Going to a concert at The Ravinia in Chicago to see Blondie who is opening for the great Melissa Etheridge. Bringing a'barilla pecorini cheese, crusty bread, 3 bottles of champagne and assorted olive oil and fruit to share with a couple of friends.

August - to take a week to hide out in the tall trees again.

My wonderfully tech free weekend starting tomorrow surrounded by trees and beach!!

The weekend...

I worked this past weekend...albeit briefly...and didn't get the true feel of a weekend.

Also

August; my ex is bringing our eldest down to live with me....

And

September; football season AND I will have someone to go to the Mountain Fair with! Riding rides alone is no bueno...

The time I get to see my family again. I 'm really missing them right now.

Happy hour with a couple of friends. :toast:

This weekend, get to spend time with The Lady and kiddos, celebrate the youngest's birthday with a party and then church on Sunday.

Spending some time in a sensory deprivation, zero gravity, flotation tank.
Ahhhh. I'm going to need to book more than one session, I think!
