I had made a huge pot of chili yesterday and everyone knows stuff like that is OH so much better the 2nd day.... :eyebat:

Handmade pasta that I tossed with asparagus and a cream sage sauce I whipped up. Paired that with sauteed spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. Then, for dessert, made us a strawberry-apple granita frozen treat. YUM!

Tonight we had pan seared marinated butterfly pork chops, spicy green beans ala Pinky, and brown sugar and cinnamon glazed oven roasted sweet potatoes. The whole wonderful meal had only olive oil and natural herbs. No butter and no salt! DEEEEEEEELICIOUSSSSSS!!!!

Someone put the can opener in the dishwasher and then started the load before figuring out that she wanted tuna fish sandwiches for dinner.
:blink: So, that very someone had a large apple, some green grapes, a slice of smoked provolone and an ounce of hard extra sharp cheddar with a few reduced fat Ritz crackers on the side. |
Fried catfish, hushpuppies, coleslaw, corn fritters, bread pudding, and iced tea!

Tonight I am making gumbo with sausage and shrimp, cheese grits, garlic bread and a spinach salad. For dessert dark chocolate with some fruit and a nice pinot noir

Think I'll have an avocado protein shake tonight.

I had a veal chop and some rice and gandules, mushrooms, corn mixed in yum..

I had 1/2 of a grilled chicken breast with yellow corn and peach cobbler for dessert

My Roomie made an AWESOME, YUMMY dinner of rotisserie chicken, homegrown Silver Queen Sweet Corn and mashed taters with gravy. To use his words.... it was LISH!! I wanted to go back for seconds, but I behaved myself.
