Dinner
Fried trout filet and steamed green beans. Ice tea.

With the drop in temp after the tornado warnings..I decided something warm was needed for dinner! Homemade chicken soup. I didn't have egg noodles so I used wide lo mein noodles. Tastes the same. And I popped open a can of flakey butter biscuits.

I was feeling a little deprived that I couldn't be at my fam's Christmas to-do, so I ordered take-out:
- Turkey and dressing with gravy - Congealed salad with whipped cream - Eggplant casserole - Sweet potato soufflé - A Parker House roll |
Pasta Alfredo (with heavy cream canna butter sauce)
Homemade pasta in a creamy sauce with Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked pepper, with bits of red pepper and grilled chicken breast.
Water to drink and Hot Cocoa for dessert. |
Homemade beef and bean soup. Daughter in laws are wonderful!

Last night I had a spicy poke bowl with tuna, albacore and avacado. It was so good.
Tonight I will find left over drum sticks from the rotisserie chicken. And hopefully fruit salad. |
2 chicken chalupas for me, and 2 spicy potato soft tacos for the wife & we shared nacho fries....went on a picnic by the lake at a local park for date night & stroll thru Venetian Gardens...all lit up for the holidays!

Last night was a mushroom/swiss cheese burger with fries from Chili's. It was delicious.

Mom and I had the ribs from the prime rib from Thanksgiving. Also the other half of the twice baked potato.

I had honey glazed duck and some dimsum and for later on I made a fancy snack plate so my mother could have something different for New Year's and bought watermelon wine and added 7up, ice and a cherry. She was all excited about fancy snack plate....
