I started to reheat the chicken, rice, mango salsa and pineapple before I realized something had crossed the line between acceptable to flirting with danger and I tossed that.
Given my laziness, I went for chili again. Doritos and shredded cheese toppers. |

birthday girl wanted teppanyaki....so we dined at a Japanese place I love.....my honey got detained with work so we brought her her faves home. I had tuna roll and shrimp tempura! It was sooooooooo good. I love :sushi:

I had turkey dogs and Red Robin steak fries baked in the oven. And soda. I'm not sure what's going on but my bellah doesn't want anything else to drink. I've been through two of those mini bottles already.

It was a Frisco Burger from Hardee's. Good burger, fries could have stood about 10 more minutes in the oil. First Frisco Burger in about 20 years.

I had a long day today and didn't get home until late in the evening, so I grilled a burger and had that along with some green beans and steamed yellow squash with Vidalia onions

gren made dinner tonight...
was a medley of veggies (zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, spinach, mushrooms) sauteed in garlic and pesto...served over bowtie pasta, topped with feta....garlic bread on the side. very tasty! |

Last night was fried fish, fried okra, green beans and dinner rolls. Dessery was hummingbird cake.

Dinner
Hi,
it is Sunday and the cooking has begun. I am making beef enchiladas for my lunches next week. I am also making beans and picadillo for breakfast tacos. Yummy! Chad |
I picked up a tube of ginger paste (I've never used paste before so this is going to be fun!) and a package of huge boneless, skinless chicken breasts that were on sale at the market. They are a little less than a pound a piece. $3.24! Manager's special, so that's why they are getting cooked tonight.
I'll probably do a basmati rice and steamed veggie thing with it. |
I haven't decided. I have a pound of hamburger in the fridge. Thinking chili or Johnny Marzetti (my version)
