Having a long weekend with Him

Going to the zoo Friday and watching the Monkeys do their Easter egg hunt

The "Easter horse" arriving sometime on Sunday after his long ride down here...smelling his horsey scent and getting one of his BIG horsey hugs :)

Having the afternoon to myself and enjoying some much needed self care time.

Seeing where things go. I have a lot on my plate and I have learned to never get comfortable to the point where I stop expecting change, even though I don't think about it constantly.

In 9 days my braces are coming off! Its gonna be like xmas morning when they come off!

Catching up, being on the road and friend dates

A friend visiting the shop next week! I hope she brings coffee.

This weekend, a friend coming by the shop, learning more patterns.

I'm impatiently waiting for the release of Rosie Garlands (Otherwise known as Rosie Lugosi) book, "The Palace Of Curiosities" So excited for her, I've been friends with her for a while after meeting and working with her in Proud Words, a writing group we used to have in the North of England, she is a truly amazing writer, inspiring and a lovely lady. I'm honoured to have spent time in her company.

Getting to visit a dear friend in late June. Such an interesting person. Excited and can't wait!

A break. I don't mean a break from work or friends or even "life". A break from the usual, maybe? For the most part my day is filled with wonderful experiences but I am looking forward to having more time to connect with myself and community at large.
