Finally getting out to the cemetery this morning with the gorgeous flowers i had made up for Mom's grave - yesterday afternoon i called the cemetery office to arrange for a ladder (since Mom's on the third level in the mausoleum) and who should answer the phone but the wonderful fellow that was our funeral director. He was just amazing - personally did Mom's hair and make-up and selected the most breathtaking roses for her casket piece. Naturally we had to do a lot of catching up and will do some more this morning...
After the cemetery i am meeting up with a friend for coffee, food and conversation... At the moment i am looking forward to my nails drying so i can start getting ready... |

Next Friday I will be headed to the beach with my top down and my hair blowing! Staying at the parent's condo right on the beach(free!) I plan on enjoying the sea as much as possible for a week!
Now if I can just get through this upcoming week........ |

Tomorrow (if I ever go to bed!), I am going letterboxing in Tacoma and then heading to Seattle for a Diverse Harmony, concert. DH is the nation's first gay-straight youth alliance chorus. They have some amazing singers and a whole lotta talent and enthusiasm. One of the choir members is an acquaintance and she is graduating high school this year. It will be her last performance with DH, so I want to be there to support and celebrate with her.
After that? Home to do laundry and chill with Molly :cat:. :stillheart: |
I'm looking forward to the first real vacation I've had since 2007!
ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I decided not to do a big project for the house this time and do a big project for me. So the SoccerMomMobile will make a big loop.....Austin to AZ to CA to NV to Deer Park, UT to CO then NM and home again....... I have a wonderful house/pet sitter lined up, so all will be safe. |
It is June 5th. It is 47 degrees. I'm looking forward to summer arriving, someday, maybe. |

Nervous as all get out
Wearing my very first corset out in public. I am so nervous I can hardly stand it!! This is a pretty conservative prairie city... but its Pride this weekend... so who the heck cares. I won't be wearing the acceptable attire...black singleton, black jeans and boots.
My corset is red and black lace and now all I have to do is find something to go with it... but who cares I am going to be one sexy sweet little fox. Wish me luck. |
I'm looking forward to spending the weekend in Atlanta with my babe! I am also looking forward to learning lots at the leather Conference we are attending. I am super vanilla, so this should be fun!!!

I just put in a 20 hour day. Yes, I said TWENTY hours.
So basically, it's only Monday and I'm a third of the way through my "week". I am looking forward to a king-sized bed, a feather pillow bought for me by a bestie, and a ceiling fan lazily spinning above my head while "HouseHunters International" glows on the tv. I havent been this tired in a long time but am thankful for the end to a week-long issue at work. EXHALLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEE. |
