Sounds yummy!
We will be rummaging through the rubbish bin called, "Our Refrigerator." Whatever surfaces without mold or odor is fair game. Candidates for tonight include "fresh" cherries and tuna salad bought today. Might have some unmoldy bread for a sandwich. Dinner is a free for all, tend for oneself type affair. "Dibbs" is often the word of the day. |

Halibut yesterday so cod today. Baked fish and steamed green beans. Iced tea to drink..yum

I started with a late lunch and have pretty much grazed myself into dinner. I started with kiwi slices and honeydew melon bites, water, a cauliflower mac 'n cheese that was divine, chicken tenders with sweet & sour sauce, fresh apple cider doughnuts, molasses ginger cookie and a root beer float.

My husbutch and I are in a hotel in Pittsburgh at a conference, and we ordered in Thai food. It was fun!
We had summer rolls, tofu/veggie curry, drunken noodles, tom kha coconut soup, and sticky rice. Did I mention it was fun? :jester: |

baked chicken legs, potato and onion baked in butter in tinfoil steamed peas. Tomorrow, poached salmon and steamed broccoli.

I made Stuffed Wontons out of caramelized shredded sweet onions and carrots and used Trader Joe's Sweet Chili Veggie burger patties, for a meat substitute. I pan seared the stuffed wonton's in coconut oil, then baked them off in the oven. And, I used Vegan Miso dressing, for a wonton dip. Delicious and satisfying, for sure.
Salted Caramel Truffle non-dairy ice cream for dessert. Room temperature water to drink. Maybe a cup of herbal tea, before bedtime. |
I had black bean soup with fresh cilantro, tofu egg salad with pickles, and cucumber slices with cut up plums on top. Oh, and a vegan vanilla rawmantic bar!

Dinner
Perogies: stuffed with potato & onion and topped with 3 cheese melt. Served with sour creme and mild salsa on the side. Iced tea with lots of lemon.
