Misheard Song Lyrics
We have all misinterpreted song lyrics at one point or another. I find misheard lyrics to be hilarious and have been caught belting them out on more than one occassion.
I used to think Alanis Morrisette was singing "It's not fair to deny me of the cross-eyed bear that you gave to me." It's really "the cross I bare that you gave to me." Some others that have cracked me up: Jefferson Starship - We Built This City Misheard lyrics: We built this city on the wrong damn road Actual lyrics: We built this city on rock and roll Juice Newton - Angel of the Morning Misheard: Just brush my teeth before you leave me, baby. The first, oh, 20 times I heard Kelly Clarkson's "People Like Us", I SWORE she said, "So throw your fish in the air..." instead of "So throw your fists in the air". Swore it. :blink: See? |

My sister always screws up song lyrics. Some of my favorites are:
Stairway to heaven actual lyric: and as we wind on down the road... Her version: and there's a wino down the road...(somebody should get that guy some help lol) TLC Waterfalls song actual lyric: Don't go chasing waterfalls... Her version: Don't go Jason Waterfalls...(pictures desperate girl clinging a guys ankle...don't go ...don't lol) There is really raunchy one but um not sure how to put it here so I will skip it for now. |

A co-worker keeps belting out; Hot dog's in the city... I say, Dude! It's hot child in the city! he said no its not. so as we were fixing a pipe in the ceiling he says it again, to which I add, Ain't got no mustard it's a pity! He rolls his eye's and says, looking wild, looking pretty. . Gesssh dude!
