Mom and I both had Garcia's Famous Chicken Fried Chicken with queso and pico de gallo, rice, beans, and avacado with salad. Ice tea to drink. Yummy!

DIGIORNO thin crust supreme frozen pizza. Took it out of the oven a few minutes ago ... munching now.
It is good but I sure miss Hungry Howie's!

Fake Chinese food from the Walmart deli hot case - yuck. What was I thinking, there are much better ways to be made to suffer - that blew. :(

Leftovers from the weekend (meh):
- DiGiorno frozen cheese crust 3 meat pizza
- Chicken lo mein
- eclairs

Chickpea salad sandwich and chips. The same as I had for lunch.

a 'crazy' mix of tofu and socca pancake....*shruggs, thats what I wanted! lol

Grassfed beef franks, mashed rutabaga, broiled tomato slices with basil & parmesan cheese, and sauteed spinach.

Tonight, it's going to be BBQ chicken breast on the grill along with some fire roasted peppers and red onion. Roasted zucchini, broccoli salad too. Cheesecake to top it off😉

Here's just a few things I will NOT be having, because I just found out that one of my favorite restaurants, an old-timey cafeteria, closed. Yesterday was their last day. So I will not be enjoying:
- Cranberry pecan Jello salad
- Deviled eggs
- Chicken and dumplings
- Salisbury steak
- New potatoes roasted with a big pot roast and serve with the au jus
- Stewed tomatoes and okra
- Eggplant souflee
- Squash casserole
- Turnip greens with cracklin corn bread to sop up the pot likker
- German chocolate pie
- Made from scratch banana pudding, including the custard itself being made from scratch with whole milk and meringue on top

I guess I'll just eat cereal while I'm in mourning. :bigcry:

I had a hot italian sausage sandwich (on a hoagie roll) with peppers, onions and mustard. Also, had a small tossed salad on the side with bacon/ranch dressing.

Sweet iced tea to drink.

I made a pasta salad with cucumbers, black olives, cherry tomatoes, celery, carrots, and sweet red and yellow peppers and used a Tuscan Italian dressing and had it over a bed of green leaf lettuce.

Grilled chicken skewer, lots of caulifower rice with butter and lemon thyme herbs, popsicle for dessert.

I am making a southern style (spicy) meatloaf with baked potatoes and homemade beans. I am thinking of sautéing some fresh zucchini for the meal and using the beans for breakfast.
