Dewberries!

I just walked four acres of my land and found a large wild dewberry vine. Soon there will be berries for dewberry cobbler. Yummy!

I am so looking forward to this cold spell to be over. I cant get warm!I am bundled up on my recliner, in my robe, and a thick fleece blanket covering me and the furnace cranked to 74!

The past few nights, my heart monitor has been on the fritz, *lol* (or.... not). I had kind of a busy day, got some stuff done that needed to be done right away, so now that I can't move, lol, i am hoping that I will just sleep for a spell. :moonstars:

Being a grandmother twice over! My youngest son and his partner got married this week. His wife has a son from a previous relationship and though I've always treated him like a grandson I was hesitant to call him my grandson until I had reason to believe his mom intended to stick around. I don't know that it will last forever but at least for now there's serious intent and that's a good start. So this week is their oldest son's birthday and right now I am all about having fun picking out presents for my grandson. He's already showing himself to be a great big brother by trying to share a toy with images of his baby brother on the picture screen at the ultrasound. :)

My youngest is coming home today. She's been away almost two weeks on a job...

She's going to help me finish things up here,at my house and then we are going to get stuff done at hers.

She's such a hard worker. Love my lil bit <3
