i had a grilled chkn burger... with cheddar cheese ..bbq sauce n hot pepper rings ....hot pepper rings count as a veggie right? lol ....

Having Japanese Udon noodle soup for dinner tonight. Yummy!

I believe we are having homemade tacos.

For a small gathering this evening...
 

I picked up some beautiful tiger prawns right off the boat this morning..and I'm going to make grilled coconut shrimp skewers, with a spicy coconut sauce, lobster bisque, and some grilled white asparugus w/a little kosher salt and melted butter.

Stuffed green peppers, served with peas, and a salad.

Fried catfish with baked fries and maybe some hush puppies.

Homemade meatloaf and stuffing

Roast chicken breast in a garlic and herb marinade, spicy roast potatoes and sugar snap peas.

I had cheezits.

Cob salad lettuce wraps
Strawberries with vegan chocolate pudding (surprisingly good)
Tea

mixed nuts.

Filet, baked sweet potato, salad, iced tea.

Oddly, nothing. Too tired to cook.

..........we live near the sea in Hastings, on the south east coast of England so about once a month, we buy fish and chips and sit on the beach eating it out of paper, often with a nice bottle of wine, but even if its pouring we sit in the car and look at the waves and eat. We will go midafternoon, that way we dont eat 2 meals (they are lovely but fattening). The fish comes in every morning fresh from the sea, we have one of the few fishing fleets left now in Britain. Christmas morning we always go down the beach with egg and bacon sandwiches and a flask of coffee and walk before the festivities begin..........it was sunny this year, though really cold but we put the soft top down on the car and drove along the country lanes to the beach...........great for clearing the head and brrrrrrrrrrrrrrracing!
