BBQ ribs and corn on the cob with lots of butter. Ice tea.

I am cooking for a date tonight so I think shrimp and scallops and some good white fish like halibut. Some corn on the cob and a tossed salad.

Ribs. Will cook in instant pot and finish on the grill with applewood chips. No sauce, just herb seasoning.
Will make it easy and grill some cauliflower, too. |

I'm eating Spinach Miso Crunch salad with water. Hopefully, that will hold, but if not, I'll have some pomegranate arils or maybe a Halo. I'm trying to be more mindful of what I stick in my pie hole.

Homemade pizza. One spicy pork sausage, black olive, green bell peppers, mushrooms and onion. The other spicy chicken sausage with pineapple, red bell peppers and sweet chili sauce. That's my contribution. The rest I don't know what the kids are up to but they assure me whatever it is they've got it under control. If not I'm coming home and following up with some sort of huge, mega sinful, very tasty desert.

Tried something new. The fake chicken was better than expected. Whole dish was yummy. :)

Last night was the last of the chicken pot pie and a Lipton Half & Half to drink with water.

Tai Pei Potstickers from Walmart. Either chicken or pork or maybe a little of both. They're nothing at all like true potstickers but they are for what they are, frozen, pretty good. I usually buy Ling Ling brand at Costco. Now after having tried both I can't say which I like better because I like them both just each in their own way. When I make potstickers the plan is usually is to add some type of rice and vegetable side dishes however very often I lazy out and just double the amount of potstickers rather than fussing with anything else. I think that's what I'm going to do tonight. Just those and some green tea. Keeping it light and simple.

I've just cooked up the last of the frozen meat. Pork pieces, onion and red pepper in the air fryer. Used BBQ sauce, cause I'm using up all the bottles.
Psst..no more mayo or salad dressings!! |
