Dinner was out at a real restaurant in the real world with real people! We were all very socially distanced, masked when not eating, and everything was sprayed down between parties. I felt pretty safe.
I had: - a grapefruit-y cocktail - a garden salad with fresh, signature bleu cheese dressing - a crab cake appetizer (lots of crab, very good) - baked rainbow trout - green beans and blistered tomatoes in a balsamic dressing - rice pilaf - warm chocolate pecan pie with vanilla ice cream - warm bread pudding with a buttery sauce and vanilla ice cream Yes, TWO desserts - but they were both shared. It's Valentine's Day, after all. |

I had wings and they were okay. I wantd a steak but I couldn’t make that happen. There’s always a next time.

Its taken forever to get fresh trout so I bought a lot. I will have fresh pan seared trout, steamed spinach, Ice tea.

Center cut pork chops, green beans, mashed potatoes with cream of mushroom gravy. Water, coffee with half-and-half, seedless red grapes for dessert.

Baked breaded pork chop (bone in). Steamed green beans. Ice tea.

Right now I'm just having hot chocolate - mint flavored. Can't decide what else I might have. Perhaps a salad or maybe a handful of pretzels ... not feeling like cooking.

I made spaghetti with house salad and garlic toast. I know that seems boring but after the winter storm in Texas it tasted like a 5 star meal.

I had rice with one of those steamable veggie packs - this one from picsweet - it had olive oil and some pepper added to the veggies. It was tasty. :)
