Spoken Word
Ever since I first saw Medusa & Arwen perform spoken word a few years back, I have been hooked. The rawness takes me on a rollercoaster of emotions, and often leaves me speechless.
Thanks to the wonderful world of the internet, we have access to hundreds of different styles and topics of spoken word, and I thought that we could share our favorite ones here. |
Great thread Pinky!!!
I'm with you Pinky. I love spoken word weather public or private confessions, it moves me as well. La Bruja is one of my favorites. I love the way she can speak the truth..........see where she takes it, she's deep.

I entered a slam poetry competition a few months back, and even though I came in second place the experience was worth a million smiles. Spoken word is awesome! |

For example, the "Unsteady Things" url is: [nomedia]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=[/nomedia]Bq7UGe5zkWE&feature=related You want to copy out this (the bolded) part: Bq7UGe5zkWE Then you want to click the red and white YouTube icon just above the text box, and that will insert the youtube code. You want to then paste the part of the address you copied between the two bracketed codes. your code will look like this, except it will show brackets instead of parenthesis: (YOUTUBE)Bq7UGe5zkWE(/YOUTUBE) Here are your poems. :) Unsteady Things Women Before PS. I love these :) |
