I am SO not geek enough to put things on a computer like this, but thanks to all of you that are!!! I love going to a movie and being so sucked into the previews I forget what movie I am there to see. Thanks again geeks, and fellow preview lovers! K-

Glen Close playing quite a convincing man in "Albert Knobbs" looks great from the clip on you tube, i cant wait to see it, though at the moment only seems to be on in Englands big cities..............http://youtu.be/ini59bYhaUY

One of my favorites - the gift

This lovely film comes out in the states like this weekend. But here in London town it doesn't come out to the end of, Nov! Its not fair! I love Carrie. One of my best teenage memories is watching it with my sister and jumping off her bed at the end of it.

movies that moved me

Not necessarily my favorites to watch over and over, that is reserved for movies like Princess Bride and Wonder Boys (although a clockwork orange is fun to rewatch), but these are movies I won't soon forget. I hesitate to post irreversible because in truth I hated the rape scene so much that I wish I had seen it before I saw the first scene because i would have been angry enough to accept the gratuitous violence in the opening so much easier even if it wasn't even the right person. I don't know what to say about that move. But i will never forget it so maybe for that reason I post it. I certainly don't advocate anyone watch it without being fully aware of what you are getting into. I like movies that play with time like Momento, but going backwards like Irreversible did really pulled at my heart strings. I was off balance the whole movie. I saw it several years ago and it's still vivid so I guess that says something.

Auntie Mame

My favorite of all time. I don't like this trailer but I do so love Rosalind Russell.

I saw this movie today and I hardly took my eyes from the screen throughout. It was one of the most phenomenal movies I've ever seen. If you get a chance to watch it and in 3D, do it. It will be worth every penny. Moving, raw, emotional, and brilliantly shot. 5+ stars (and I'm a really hard movie critic).
