I made an Angus bacon, cheeseburger with everything but the kitchen sink. Ice tea .

- NY strip steak
- baked potato with butter
- green beans
- lemon sugar cookie for dessert

Dinner
 

BBQ back ribs with side of broccoli with cheese. Ice tea.

- chicken and noodles
- hummus and Triscuits
- a Honeycrisp apple

BBQ pulled pork sandwich and a fried apple pie. The boy made a stop on his way home from vacation and picked some up. The BBQ is delicious, but the fried pies! oh my gosh, they're the size of a regular pie pan, the filling is heavenly apple-y goodness, and the crust! I can't make pie crust like this, flaky and light and crispy and wonderful. I suspect they use lard. I can't wait!

After work I made a super quick dinner:

Chicken in white wine pepper sauce with mushrooms (premade and reheated)

Cauliflower mashed “potatoes”

Green beans

Brunswick stew and saltines
An oatmeal raisin cookie

I’m not sure but whatever he makes us for dinner will be okay by me.

Hopefully, fingers crossed, he will make my fav Martini (Lemon Drop).

- a jalapeno hush puppy in hot honey sauce
- fried catfish filet and sautéed prawns atop creamy grits

for $70 with tip I'd give it a solid B.

Sent out for Chinese dinner for one plus an order of chicken wings. Ice tea.

Cabbage “steaks” pan seared in evoo, with Smokey tofu cubes marinated in BBQ sauce, and a spoonful of corn relish (homemade).

Water to drink.

Dessert: Banana Cream Pie Martinis.🍸🍸

Nice cut of wild caught rainbow trout with a side of riced cauliflower and broccoli with cheese sauce. Ice tea.

Unfortunately, the boy had an epic Fail with the meatloaf tonight. It didn't hold together, and it tasted like teriyaki beef. It had chunks of bread in it. If it weren't for the soggy bread, I would eat it on top of rice. At least the mashed potatoes (Bob Evans, premade) and green beans (from a can) were okay.
