Where would you like to visit on vacation?

Panama or South Africa. I need to decide where I'm going and start saving now if I'm going to one of these international jazz festivals in 2017.

What's the worst gift you've ever received and given?

Worst received was a horrid sweater, worst given was a tshirt

What's the worst food you have ever eaten?

Cheese. Don't know the name of it, but it looked like a toe, smelled like toes, and it was really, really, really sharp. I took one bite and tossed it out.

Is science or art more essential to humanity?

I would have to say science only because most often scientist research leads to ways to extend human life!


Is it better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all?

Havana, Cuba.

Why would or wouldn't you give a beggar on the street a dollar or two?

I wouldn't give them money BUT I have gone and gotten them food!

Why would or wouldn't you accept a fixer-upper blind date?

A fixer-upper? Like she needs work?

Oh, no..LOL Like friends or a co-worker sets you up with someone for a blind date!

I'd accept because hy may be a fun date. If not, the date only lasted for a couple hours.

What are some of the New Years' traditions, if any, that you honor (resolutions, eating certain foods, etc.)?

Eating greens of some kind.

Has anything bad happened to you that turned out to be good? If so, what was it?

Bad thing :I was rushed to the ER in Aug with blood clots in my lung!
Good thing: I am now getting excellent medical care for other things I didn't realize I had:seeingstars:



How did you make lemonade out of lemons?

I was "taken off the schedule" at a job because my FMLA ran out. Nice way of saying they fired me after 10 years of killing myself for the place. I was sick and unable to work, and was denied disability. Well I got my s*** together, went out and got a job and busted my butt to prove myself. Eight years and a nice promotion later, here I am at the best paying job I've ever had, and with the respect of my coworkers for my well deserved title. So if I had not gotten fired, I would still be at the old job going nowhere. QUESTION: What is the one regret you have always had?

Listening to others define who I am.


If you had 1 wish, what would it be?

My wish would be that my spouse could be well again. If you could move anywhere in the United States, where would you go?
