tried a recipe from pinterest tonight

cabbage quarters with wrapped bacon, smothered in butter/parm/salt/pepper
grilled on the grill.

it was great. but cook the cannabe for about an hour instead of the 40 minutes its called for.

I had homemade nachos with extra pico and jalapenos.

I made homemade loaded twice baked potatoes,toasted shaved brussel sprouts tossed in a lil lemon juice olive oil garlic and crushed red pepper with a lil salt and pepper and smoked sausage

Tonight's menu was homemade fattoush salad, whole wheat pita bread, some very lean ground beef, and a couple baby dill pickles.

I really liked the salad because it was all fresh. I used kale tore into small pieces, diced sweet onion, diced red bell pepper, sliced cucumbers minus the seeds, halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped dill weed, chopped parsley, chopped mint, juice from one lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper. Oh yeah and feta cheese.

steak topped with mushroom, onion and shrimp and butter. Baked potato wedges (doesn't really go with it but it was a request from little miss) and a garden salad.

Later we have brownies with chocolate chip cookies inside served with vanilla ice cream topped with fudge.
