It has a little bit of shine, and a tiny bit of sparkle. It is the shade that I was wearing in my gallery photos. I almost want to run out and buy more, because I know how they love to get rid of my favorite shades/brands.

Thanks Princess. I will have to check that out. I just hate having that "melting" look at a couple of hours. Seems no matter what I use it happens.

Do you have oily skin?

I do. I use this sheer matifying powder. It's oil free and has SPF. It lasts for most of the day, but if I go out in the evening I have to reapply it. I like it because it is very lightweight.

Just reading all your posts inspired me and I purchased something I've never tried a MAC product called Dazzleglass..the colors are Love Alert & Sugar Rimmed..they look yummy and the names are really catchy..omg very slick marketing, but the colors are really amazing and are not anything like my usual which is usually dark reds rusts etc..this could get dangerous :)

Holly, I am definitely checking out your gallery! thanks!

Juicy Tubes

Try NYX lipsticks; while the quality is not as great as MAC, the colors are many and the price is amazing. I also love the BUXOM line from Bare Escentuals but do get complaints if you kiss anyone who doesn't like their lips to tingle!lol

O yes, I love that bitten look, but you have a point about the kissing..Kissing is always a problem with just about any lipstick or gloss and I haven't found a long wear lipstick that doesn't dry me out or have colors that look good on me..Part of the point is that your lips look very kissable..at least that's a biggie for me :)

I like a natural look with just a hint o' glitter. *laughs*

I really like using Cover girls lip stain and then finishing it off with Wetslicks amazemint lip gloss, love the way it looks and the minty freshness :)

(imo)glitter is verrrry necessary! how does it taste and is it sticky?? thanks :)

ps..just learned this from a make-up specialist she said if your lipstick or gloss tends to slip off, try using a lip pencil to color in your whole lip, then apply your gloss/and/or lipstick

Clinique or Elizabeth Arden foundations work well for me, but can be a little pricey.

I've owned Juicy Tubes in the past. I liked the colour, but found it a little sticky. If it was too windy, my hair would stick to my lips.

I usually wear MAC Red these days. I've also liked Russian Red and (of course) Ruby Woo. :)

Just a hint of vanilla for flavor. Very shiny, the glitter is more like a shimmer. And yes, slightly sticky before it sets.

I do not care for any kind of gloss or lipstick from Lancome. The lipsticks tend to get overly dry and their glosses are too sticky for my taste and leave an odd feel on your lips.

My personal favorite gloss of course is MAC and a tie for
http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/...ass/index.tmpl in love alert

and

http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/...ass/index.tmpl in wonder woman.....hint hint if you like this one buy a few cause it is getting discontinued soon.

As for Lipsticks I love MAC as well and my faves are
http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/...ick/index.tmpl in such flare

and
http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/...ick/index.tmpl in MAC red!!

http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/...ick/index.tmpl in Viva Glam l

The pigments are top notch and really rich as with all MAC products. The only other make up line I think holds a flame to MAC is MUF (make up forever) and some urban decay/smash box products as far as pigment and durability.

Kiss My Face

I use maybelline lip stain and then put Kiss My Face mint chapstick over it. The mint is so melty it's almost a gloss so it has some sheen and keeps my lips soft. It's easier to apply with a fingertip than straight out of the tube.

Warn your butch lover before they try to apply it like regular chapstick and end up with globs of chapstick around their shiny lady lips. I made this mistake with my ex once. He was not a happy boi.

love a red or raisin stain, but it's been hard to find one i'm happy with..its definitely worth a look..thanks!

if you're not happy with the shape of your lips, this is a great little tip to make it a bit fuller. Get a very good creme based concealer and very carefully redefine and make the perfect defined outline (for a fuller lip), concentrate on your cupid bow, take a brush and blend concealer into foundation then set with translucent powder,, then use a brush with your lipstick and fill then in (a brush gives you more control) and/or then a lipglass..it's amazing..no rilly, try it!
