I started watching the Twin Peaks reunion but it was unbearable. The plot felt ridiculous and completely contrived. It’s not the Twin Peaks I knew and loved

Wasted........ Doucementary with: Dan Barber, Mario Batali, Massimo Bottura, Anthony Bourdain

Through the eyes of famous chefs, audiences will see how they make the most of every kind of food, transforming what most people consider scraps into incredible dishes that create a more secure food system.

On Showtime via Amazon Prime...

Time of Death. It’s a 6 part documentary which chronicles the last months, weeks and days of terminally ill people. They really do a good job of exploring family dynamics and how individual death can be.

I’ve been sobbing like a baby through most of the episodes. But a good cry is usually a good way of detoxing the soul.

I started watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Prime. I heard good things and they were correct.

13 Reasons

Disturbing and an eye opener. Wow, how things have changed since I was in high school. Parenting has a challenge.

Like Father (NetFlix, summer of 2018)

My sister-in-law and I watched this last night, and it was sooooo good.
Kelsey Grammer (of Fraiser fame) stars as Rachel's (Kristen Bell) dad.

From the trailer: When a workaholic young executive (Kristen Bell), is left at the altar, she ends up on her Caribbean honeymoon cruise with the last person she ever expected: her estranged and equally workaholic father (Kelsey Grammer). The two depart as strangers, but over the course of a few adventures, a couple of umbrella-clad cocktails and a whole lot of soul-searching, they return with a renewed appreciation for family and life. Like Father premiered August 3, only on Netflix, but is currently airing on Netflix during the month of December.
