I always fantasize about having a place with great architectural detail. I'm kind of drawn to old looking places. Places that tell stories of another time.

I SO agree about a place with great architecture features!

I don't know about other cities and areas but in Seattle and especially in West Seattle most of the buildings with great architectural designs have been ripped down and replaced with ugly glass and metal structures!

Surly this isn't what they are teaching these days in architecture classes..

I know right? It would be such a treasure if the old buildings were preserved. When I look at some of the glass and metal buildings i think welcome to your special cage, but hey the view is great. LOL

Seeing I'm on a rant.... these newly constructed apartment/condo units have windows that barely open! IF you're lucky, the side windows may crank open a tad the bottom row might as well but not always, believe me me and Mary looked at enough of them to know!

It makes me sick to think of these beautiful old buildings disappearing! They have tore many down in Seattle and Chicago as well!

The perfect bedroom and sitting area to while/wile away the hours reading! I picture that spread in flannel and of course the chair & moose pillow has to go!

On second thought just the chair. I've grown fond of anything moose!
