Just wondering what everyone is doing for New Years?

Same as Gemme. Probably asleep by 9:30pm or so.

I may need to set some type of an alert/notification of how I survived 2018 while being hopeful for 2019 :)

We're having our own private party with food, drinks, and movies. I may or may not already be well on my way to drunk and we haven't even popped the champagne yet!

No one, twenty years ago, could have made me believe that being cold clean and sober on NYE would be any fun!

Guess what, watching Lawrence O'Donnell in a small NY town, is absolutely boring.

Would rather be drunk and high on a stranger's couch even with a decades' sobriety.

New Year's Eve
 

Mom and I are watching "Live From Lincoln Center" The New York Phillhamica with Renee Fleming. We are enjoying the last night of our festive Christmas tree with Brandy and snacks. Everytime I see the flute I think of my dear friend.

I stay glued inside my house on NYE until the munitions stop blasting, the skies stop exploding in silver glittery gun powder tufts...light rain, not a good night for outdoorsy drinkers. Smells like sulphur...the drizzle hasn't slowed down any of these pyros in the 'hood.
