A coal fired personal size white pie with sausage, bacon crumbles, and shredded basil bits....YUM. I had a half bowl Greek salad and I only ate two small pieces of my izza...and I was full!!!

I enjoy our date nights!!!!

At some point this evening I am going to have a grilled cheese sandwich with a bowl of soup, but for now I am munching on these chocolate chip cookies that somehow found their way to my house.

Well....I went to the market today without a clue as to what to make for dinner...

While I was there, I found chicken on sale and Alfredo sauce too...I quickly put 2+2 together and am making chicken Alfredo for dinner.

I've been itching to use this lovely pesto with quinoa that I got at trader joes....so I'm going to incorporate some in when I cook the chicken, spinach and mushrooms....

I just can't let the kid know I'm using it or she won't touch her dinner...I honestly don't know how I gave birth to that child...

I am baking "Chicken in Milk." Jamie Oliver's, to be exact. [Link to recipe at the end of the post.] I am also cooking a pot of polenta and whatever greens I decide on while at the grocery buying fresh sage. This is the best chicken in a pot I've ever had.

I made it an easy supper by having ham sandwiches with dill pickles, they were good and easy to fix then clean up after.

I made a super food salad with salmon. I have learned this week that eating clean is hard but eat something full of fat and calories and watch what happens. Omg. I can do it any more

Same thing as last night and the night before that and probably tomorrow night:

Clear liquids.

Gemme 12-19-2015 07:21 PM

I had a mesquite smoked chicken breast and sweet potato fries with chocolate milk to drink. Cookies and junk for dessert.

It started off healthy.

I can relate I was on clear liquids for a week. I hope your healing well and starting to feel better Anya.

I'm so excited I get to try mashed potatoes with some plain greek yogurt for my protein.

Cornish game hen, cooked in the infrared cooker, roasted sweet potato and zucchini. He is a wonderful cook, even after all the aggravation of xmas shopping.
