I had steamed broccoli, quinoa & red & brown rice, kielbasa, a concoction of half carrot juice and half Green Goodness that's become my norm now as well as 4 Keto cups in chocolate mint.

Left overs from yesterday's family dinner night -
Spanish rice Re-fried beans Beef, bean and cheese burritos The usual go along with items, salsa, guacamole, sour cream Only water to drink, no dessert, this plate was heaping! That's probably what I'll be having tomorrow for lunch as well because J sent enough home with me to help make that happen. Waste not, want not. Oh BTY she made this using low sodium taco seasoning mix, reduced calorie vegitarian re-fried beans, and Don Pancho carb control wraps. I'd have never purchased anything as healthy sounding as that had she not been there to police. It was so good I was suprised to learn she was striving to help make the meal at least a little healthier than drive up window or ready made store bought until I announced my plans to try making it on my own. She gave me the recipe, wished me good luck and everybody snickered. Not my grandson though. He slept through the entire meal. |

Burn your lips off spicy ramen noodles. Boy they weren't kidding! I had to pour all the broth off, put them in a strainer and rinse them. Then drain, add some chicken bouillon and a lot more water, then then bring it to a boil, heat it up again to get them to the point I could eat them, not let it go to waste. After that torture I owe myself dessert but there's nothing good around here. Right now canned fruit is about as comforting as it gets. Not good canned food either, homemade, or even one of the better store bought brands. Nope just this awful stuff in cans that don't stack well. Actually don't stack at all. So right now vitamin C chews are about as sweet as it gets until I can get some cake or ice cream or candy or something in here to make packing all those pounds I want to pack on worth it.

James is cooking supper tonight. I will make a small fresh salad to compliment what he makes for us. Some Italian cuisine, hopefully.

Left over chicken enchiladas that I made last night. Black beans with chorizo and jalapenos for me. Mom gets plain refry..lol

I had a black bean burger with aged Swiss, micro greens, avocado oil mayo, mustard and dill pickle slices on a whole grain toasted sandwich thin. With that, I had an entire bag of Lay's Layers. Triple cheese flavored. To be fair, each bag only has, like, 2.5 servings. They are pretty darn good, though. To drink, I had my 60% carrot juice, 40% green goodness "smoothie" mix, which is like a homestyle oj and not thick like an actual smoothie. Water chaser. It was good!
